Former Trump White House national security official Fiona Hill said Russian President Vladimir Putin had “to explain everything to all the time” to former President Trump.
“He had to keep explaining things, and Putin doesn’t like to do that,” Hill said this week, speaking at a Chicago Council on Global Affairs event in remarks reported by Insider.
Hill added that Putin intentionally chose to invade Ukraine during President Biden’s tenure in the White House.

And this happened when??
Looking for talent amount the government bureaucracy is like robbing a bank on a movie set.
Yea, well...A major problem with this so called divided government is that one branch gets to Staff the other. Not sure why the founders thought that was a good idea. Advise and consent has morphed into a way of getting spies into the administration. Trump couldn’t get allies in because the Senate has a Veto. He needs to find a way to wearing those who need to be confirmed
Fiona was at HP??
Are you confusing her with Carly/Snarly Fiorina???
Maybe it was strategy ... make Putin repeat to get more info or the truth
Trump's lack of "predictability" was his strength.
Biden's "predictability" is his weakness.
How does Fiona Hill conclude that Putin feeling the need to "continually explain" is a failing?
When your opponent is WRONG, then conceding his explanation is also WRONG!
She was an existing pick. She was up for extension of her appointment...Trump kicked her a** to the curb (I think at the advice of Guliani). She got super p*****.
LOL - was she there?
(seriously- was she? I didn’t read the article) :)
THE ART OF THE DEAL.
Trump came from the real world where actual results matter.
Biden could speak “diplomese” but look at his failure at nearly every foreign policy he supported.
Including the invasion of Ukraine.
So, Biden is so much smarter than Trump because he succeeded in getting Russia to invade Ukraine???
When I think I am being buillsh*tted I always ask them to repeat themselves just in case I am the one not getting it.
Usually I’ve gotten it quite correct.
Fiona sHill, neocon POS.
Exactly
I always tell my kids that you rarely learn anything new when you’re the one talking.
Or “you never learn anything with your mouth open”
=============================
Fiona, the KNOWN Liar.
Amb Haley remarked this was a strategy Trump employed, the unpredictability, at least with North Korea. I don’t see why Trump couldn’t have done the same with Putin. Putin can predict milquetoast Joe Biden with about half a century in politics. He couldn’t tell if Trump was crazy, genius or an idiot who might nuke the planet.
I know right.
Like I said, they live in an alternate reality.
Putin went into Ukraine when he did because it is obvious to anyone with half a brain that actually tells the truth because brandon is weak and made the infamous “limited incursion” statement.
Putin interpreted that as a green light and I believe that brandon said it intentionally.
“asking a lot of questions doesn’t mean you don’t know the answers”
A question is an excellent idea if you don’t know something.
After all these years, with all of the opportunities available to observe the results of what Trump did, most people (and most politicians and bureaucrats, who should be smart enough to figure it out) still miss the fact that Trump is not a typical politician despite being at the apex of politics. He is a businessman who has dealt with some of the sharpest minds in the country, and beating them at their own game. Trump knows how to read people very well, and how to outsmart them. The very fact that the only presidency during which Putin did not invade a neighboring country was his presidency, speaks volumes. Another fact is that he beat every politician that he went up against on his first run for office to become President of the United States. How, after that, do you dare to underestimate such a person? The only way is for such a person to be profoundly stupid.
