Yeah Trump was giving Putin the third degree by making Putin justify his position...especially since Putin chooses to speak in Russian despite, I’m pretty sure he understands English. It wan’t that Trump had concentration issues but rather his style puts everyone on the spot to explain right down to the last detail to make sure everyone one was on the same page and that there would be no “sly misunderstandings” of what is and what is not!

It’s definitely a useful technique in the business world.

Maybe Hill meant this as a condemnation of Trump but it sure reads to me like she’s unintentionally damning Biden with feint praise.

The article is illogical, but I had the same impression - oddly, that Putin and Biden think the same deep-state thoughts, so its easier to have a war together (??). Strange, but that's how it seems

He also got Putin on record. Also a good way to catch somebody is to constantly ask them to say the same things, so as to catch any subtle discrepancies.

Anyone remember the opening of “The Lives of Others”, where the interrogator will keep asking the same question, because as he put it, someone who is lying, will say the exact same thing time and time again, word for word.

Anti-Trump impeachment “witness” Fiona Hill is just doing her job as a Soros apologist.

What this woman says makes no sense. I really doubt Putin had Fiona Hill as a confidante.

It would only make sense if Hill thinks war with Russia is a thing we should aspire to.

Admittedly, there was a bit of sarcasm in that statement.

I believe that Trump FULLY understands the subtleties of geopolitics, and that the progressives gaslight the simpletons among us with prognostications of his ‘weakness’...which is, in fact, masking his refusal to play along with the globalists and kowtow to the their & the progressives’ agenda (what I’ve shorthanded to the ‘PG Agenda’, or ‘PG’).

We are now learning that the FBI knew the truth at the genesis of ‘Russiagate’; with that knowledge it is indisputable that the only way multiple agencies could have turned against Trump was on orders.

The ‘list’ is very, very short and it certainly does not include Xiden the Puppet.

Trump was the genius in the room (save for his choice of advisers; his choice of Oz befuddles, but he’s also human). As one of those advisers, Hill is a either a loyalist or an obedient simp to the PG.

Regardless, CINOs & Hill make good bedfellows.

Unless the person wasn’t lying and he still said the same thing word for word until by shifting the tone in his voice he can insult the interrogator making the interrogator look like a moron everytime the question gets asked.

Sometimes people don’t lie and still their stories won’t change. Have to disagree with the interrogator’s take. Now if the issue is one of “9 times out of 10” the person is “probably” lying, then that changes my opinion a bit.!

Maybe Putin was explaining things to Trump because Trump could detect the nonsense.

Hill then goes on to say that Biden was a more acceptable negotiating partner for Putin because he could be fooled.

This is how far the left has to go to explain why there was peace during Trump's administration, and war during Biden's watch.

Obviously Putin’s answers weren’t satisfying Trump.

bingo. Trump being a businessman and not a politician would want to know the details and the end result.

All the pols worry about is how much do I get out of this, no details necessary

True or not, it kept Putin from taking up arms against his neighbors, which he did during Obama and Biden.

A non excuse for the current state of affairs. Condemn Biden , but never do anything about it.

Counters all of Bidens its Russias fault for inflation, as it points out Putin saw its easier to do whatever he wants with Biden compared to Trump.

It is a common negotiating tactic to keep your opposite explaining.

“He thought that somebody like Biden, who’s a transatlanticist, who knows all about NATO, who actually knows where Ukraine is, and actually knows something about the history, and is very steeped in international affairs, would be the right person to engage with as opposed to somebody that you have to explain everything to all the time, honestly,” the former national security official added.

And gosh, look how well that has worked out for Ukraine. How stupid is Fiona Hill?
