The leader of the Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has told a Moscow audience that his country's forces are "finding it difficult" and are fighting a war "against NATO" in Ukraine.
A fierce loyalist of Vladimir Putin, the leader of the Caucasus republic, announced his forces had been deployed to the battlefield in Ukraine soon after the Russian president invaded on February 24.

At a filmed educational forum in Moscow, Kadyrov addressed Russia's faltering invasion of Ukraine, in which his militias have suffered heavy casualties.
"We're fighting not against Ukraine, against Banderites—we're fighting against NATO," Kadyrov told the audience at the New Horizons event on Wednesday.
-snip-
"NATO, the West is arming them," he told the event called New Horizons. "Their mercenaries are there and that's why our state is finding it difficult.
"But it's a really good experience, we'll prove once again that Russian cannot be defeated."

Well, that’s progress. Russia went form getting their ass kicked to just finding it difficult in fake stream news.
Hard to keep political power when your constituency is composed of the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, wives, extended family of the young men you sent to be slaughtered in Ukraine. Suspect this guy is securing a nice apartment and a place to store his gold and diamonds in Moscow.
So much for Shock and Awe, more like...
Shock and Oh shit!
Seems like Russia can’t do anything right? Lost in Afghanistan after 10 years! Lost having influence in the 2016 election! Losing contest with Uke which should have been a cakewalk!
He was at the Beslan massacre?
“Seems like Russia can’t do anything right? “
You do realize that Mariupol fell a few days ago, and the Azov Nazi regiment have been rounded up. Yeah, they’re not doing things right (s/))
One should think things through before starting wars.
For instance, this is a Brendan Cole vanity posted by a FR neocon fanboi.
And we all know the rules on vanity posts...
Yep, you’re right in here with the rest.
You’re comfortable enough among the neocons and Democrats here to repeat the lie of Russian involvement in the 2016 election (which was used to smear Trump)?
One more time:
1) This is the first war in history where both sides had access to excellent satellite recon. This is more important by a factor of 10 than anything else going on.
2) If you cannot move without being seen, neither side, then anything you do en masse can be targeted from afar.
3) This is new reality in 21st century warfare and the guy is right, it is experience being gained the US does not have.
4) Occupation means a great deal less than it used to. Occupation is just a massing of forces to be hit from afar. The only alternative would be moving into cities at night and creating reluctance to use long range weapons that way.
Look at post #6.
These threads are now at the point to attract people where Russia/2016 elections is brought up.
I may be wrong, but has FR been infiltrated by Dems/Hillary bots?
Skunk Putin the fake lying ass Russian Orthodox Christian. It was all an act, you idiots. Putin is no savior of Western religiousness and anti-gay whatever morality.
As skunk Putin sics his pet Muslim Chechens on the Christians of Ukraine....who are Orthodox too. Most are at least. Catholic in the West Ukraine I believe.
Bullies are always cocky when they are picking on someone smaller but whine and blubber when its a fair fight.
Go Away troll and take your fake MSM BS with you.

Because our news/information is censored and controlled most Americans BELIEVE the indoctrination we have been subjected to. Unfortunately, though for our owners/elitists/oligarchs (call them whatever you wish) there is now an abundance of factual information available outside of their control and more of us are slowly becoming aware of reality.
It is going to be interesting to watch the lights come on for our fellow freepers who have been waking up more slowly.

Ukraines losses have been huge. Russia had high losses in the initial state, but have been averaging double digit per day for the last 6 weeks; while Ukraines have been between 400-700 a day.

I feel like people have this debate every time, so I’m going to write this down as a standard response.
1) Rybar’s numbers are based on internal general staff reports. I have seen the formatting of this stuff, where casualties would be listed by unit. This data is incomplete, hence the statistical extrapolation. I remember how the 53rd brigade was dropped from reports despite its remnants apparently still fighting in the field. The brigade command had been killed, so no one was doing the reporting.
2) Rybar’s numbers are also incomplete because they do not account for Territorial Defense, foreign legion, or the nationalist formations. The nationalist formations are technically a part of the National Guard, but the National guard stopped reporting casualties in the first month. Same with the border guard service. Rybar’s numbers are conservative because they only work with the one service they have numbers for, the Armed Forces.
3) The abnormally high number of killed to wounded is indicative of the nature of the fighting. Air strikes often collapse entire structures with everyone inside, with few or no survivors. Since the Ukrainians are on the back foot, they also don’t do a good job of retrieving their wounded. K:W ratio based on some of the unit data I’ve seen is consistently near parity. They may also not count certain light wounds as casualties and only record those taken out of action for an extended period.

It’s getting worse than Twitter.
The Russians are pathlogical liars. Taking what they say at face value shows extreme naivety.
