Vladimir Putin has undergone a successful surgical procedure to remove fluid from his abdomen, according to a Russian opposition source.
While there was no independent corroboration of the treatment, General SVR Telegram channel claimed the procedure the Russian president had, was successful.
The channel has made repeated claims over more than 18 months that Putin is suffering from abdominal cancer, among a range of other health problems.

General SVR Telegram said the procedure to remove fluid from his abdominal cavity was separate from surgery linked to cancer, that it has claimed he is due to undergo soon.
If true, the procedure came the night before a strange video where Putin’s head appeared to be too large for his body as he addressed the opening of a security council virtual meeting with a bland introduction.

“On the night of Thursday May 12 to Friday May 13 Putin underwent a surgical procedure to remove fluid from the abdominal cavity,” said the channel, which claims to have insider knowledge about the Kremlin.
“The procedure went well, without complications.
“Please note that this procedure is not the surgical operation that is recommended for the president and which has yet to take place.”

LOL...was about to post...Mirror UK is about as legit as....Weekly World News/Enquirer, etc.
Lymphoma? Wasn’t some oligarch secretly recorded as saying Puty had a blood cancer? My buddy beat Lymphoma about two years ago, had to have his abdomen drained two or three times prior to chemo kicking in.
“The procedure went well, without complications”
Well, that’s a pity.
I’ve been in a wheelchair since 1980. This last month has been brutal. Several issues related to my spinal cord injury has me in bed and off my butt for most of the day. And days into weeks into a month.
I’m missing alot of the beautiful PA spring. I see the doctor tomorrow so we shall see.
I had two friends with cancer who had this procedure done more than once. Both terminal. I think it’s an end stage.
Usually, it is,yes.
Agree. My dad gets drained regularly. It’s ultrasound to find pockets of fluid and then it’s drained. Wide awake in a clinic setting.
Yes, the normal blocks to leakage into the area that needs
to be cleared, doesn’t get better. It keeps leaking.
It’s end of life stuff.
Smile...
