Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee announced Tuesday that she tested positive for COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated and receiving booster shots.
“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee tested positive for COVID,” her official Twitter account noted on Tuesday. “She is fully vaccinated and has received her boosters.”
Evidently, the multiple jabs of COVID-19 inoculation did nothing to immunize the Texas Democrat from contracting of the virus nor did it stop Jackson from urging the public to get more shots.

People don’t seem to understand. A virus has as much variability amongst other viruses as people do. Look out a third story window at the street in New York. You’ll see tall people, short people, blacks, whites, Hispanics, Chinese, bald people, hairy people...you get the idea. Well, there is as much variability between individual virus particles. If you inject a damaged virus into someone your immune system gets to look at the full thing and develop tools to target the whole thing. But with mRNA they take just one tiny aspect, as if you picked a short male with black hair in the human example. So, you eliminate all of the short men with black hair. Not women, because your tiny sample was a white male, short, with black hair. And that’s what your immune system is going to eliminate. That’s why we have so many variations now. And will continue to have variations. At this point there’s probably no getting rid of it because we bread so many different types. The man who invented the technology warned us this would happen from day one.

Well, this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Stupidity and Fugly are not defenses against Covid.
Having been a vaccine proponent for my entire adult life I would tend to believe this as well. But these are not normal vaccines, and every single person my wife and I know who has tested for Covid in the past couple of months has been fully vaccinated and boosted. None of the people we know who have not received the Covid vaccines have tested positive, even those living with Covid positive people.
So it is a case of believing our own eyes and experiences vs our expectations as a life long vaccine proponents. My wife is a retired nurse, my mother is a retired nurse, and chiefs on the Fire department that I retired from have all come to the same conclusion. At this point the vaccines do no good and are likely to be weakening the immune systems of many who have taken them. They were designed to fight a pathogen that no longer exists. The current form of Covid going around has evolved in a way that makes the vaccines obsolete.
The current form of the virus is no longer much of a threat to unvaccinated people's health although vaccinated people are still getting sick and dying. I am not sure whether this is from the virus or from immune system damage from the vaccines. The authorities are not sure either, although most are not speaking out. This has become an unparalleled screw up that will tend to undermine people's faith in medical authorities which is a strong incentive for them to keep their mouths shut...

Why no report on her symptoms, if any? Mild or non-existent symptoms don’t fit the agendas of the loudest screamers: (1) The Democrats are less able to keep the fear going; and (2) the anti-vaxxers are less able to claim that the vaccine
