Having been a vaccine proponent for my entire adult life I would tend to believe this as well. But these are not normal vaccines, and every single person my wife and I know who has tested for Covid in the past couple of months has been fully vaccinated and boosted. None of the people we know who have not received the Covid vaccines have tested positive, even those living with Covid positive people.
So it is a case of believing our own eyes and experiences vs our expectations as a life long vaccine proponents. My wife is a retired nurse, my mother is a retired nurse, and chiefs on the Fire department that I retired from have all come to the same conclusion. At this point the vaccines do no good and are likely to be weakening the immune systems of many who have taken them. They were designed to fight a pathogen that no longer exists. The current form of Covid going around has evolved in a way that makes the vaccines obsolete.
The current form of the virus is no longer much of a threat to unvaccinated people's health although vaccinated people are still getting sick and dying. I am not sure whether this is from the virus or from immune system damage from the vaccines. The authorities are not sure either, although most are not speaking out. This has become an unparalleled screw up that will tend to undermine people's faith in medical authorities which is a strong incentive for them to keep their mouths shut...
