Relatives of Buffalo’s supermarket-slaughter suspect are copping the COVID defense, telling The Post on Monday that the teen likely snapped because of his paranoia and isolation from the pandemic.
They added they had no clue their kin, accused 18-year-old Payton Gendron, was an alleged white supremacist and said he clearly needed help after threatening his high-school classmates almost a year ago — although they aren’t sure he ever got it.

Depends on how bad it is. Honestly what would you do? Call the police? Get him to psych? Beg them to put him in a psych institute? Oh wait they hardly exist. Insist psych declares him a real danger? They might not. Even so that just might mean some meds. Who knows what variables there are here?
He did wear a Hazmat suit his first 2 weeks back to school
If this specimen was on any kind of uppers/downers/attitude adjusters/etc. he very likely lied on the 4473 he signed to buy his last gun. Doesn’t make the damage any worse but it could put the gun dealer in a tight spot. It’s not clear whether he bought the gun out of town. Maybe the local dealer knew him? I did hear the dealer speak up quickly saying the sale was “legal.”
He threatened to shoot up his school. Not bad enough?
What would you do? Nothing?
Don’t know, but he probably shot thousands of “people” in violent video games, starting at age ten.

The mother of the Sandy Hook shooter protected him, refused mental health care and even bought him the gun. She was the first one he killed.
All of these mass shooters…at least the white ones (including the Columbine killers and Dylan Roof)…have had mental problems, have been hidden and protected by their families, and have not been followed up on by law enforcement because the family was “respectable,” often well known, and anyway, Mom said she’d watch over her little baby…a good boy, ya know…and not let him get into any trouble.
And we see how it ends. But Mom and Dad have the nerve to be out there justifying themselves.

Kid had Bigly issues.
The school administration let him come to school for a week dressed in a haz mat suit & knew he had threatened a school shooting. The parents seem oblivious. He should have been in a lockdown facility.
Were they expecting him to find help in a box of Crackerjacks???

You have to understand, in today’s world anyone who has an opposing thought or idea is by default a Nazi or a racist. Hell, on the Ukraine-Russian War threads on FR those posters who condemn the Russian invasion are routinely called Nazis by those who support the invasion.
