HERE ARE THE 12 REASONS ACCORDING TO THE AUTHOR:

For those of us who have had the opportunity to meet Mehmet Oz know why President Trump endorsed him:

1. Dr. Oz is a compassionate and caring man;
2. Dr. Oz is an extremely hard worker. Nobody outworks Dr. Oz;
3. Dr. Oz has a long list of successes as a surgeon and a doctor, an author, a television personality in all, a winning resume;
4. Dr. Oz is brilliant but he is humble:
5. Dr. Oz genuinely likes people;
6. Dr. Oz is a great family mam, with not a hint of personal scandal;
7. Dr. Oz is kind but strong – strong enough to turn the other cheek to avoid a meaningless fight;
8. Dr. Oz keeps his word and his commitments, even when it means crisscrossing Pennsylvania without sleep;
9. Dr. Oz is sufficiently financially independent that he cannot be bought by special interests.
10. Dr. Oz does not run away from tough issues.
11. Dr. Oz will not let us down.  Like Trump, he cares what people think of him and  he will keep his campaign promises.
12. Trump did a great job for us.  He believes Dr. Oz will as well.

Wow, Oz is a nice guy, repeated 12 times in different ways.

It does not make him a constitutionalist and nothing in the article shows that he is a constitutionalist in word and deed.

My vote is based on who will support the constitution, not who is a nice person.

I think the bigger reason is Trump knows a lot about what it takes to WIN, and it’s more than policy positions. You can read fights on FR every day about “who’s the most conservative” or “who is a $#!%$ing liberal!” - but it’s all for nothing if their chosen candidate doesn’t win. Job #1 is to win the election, then you can talk policy. And those who help a candidate win are going to be listened to.

None of these "reasons" are ideological. He is a liberal, pro-abortion, anti-second amendment, Turkish national. He has never been a conservative and would work against us like every other liberal in the US Senate does.

Also, the vast majority of these reasons also apply to Kathy Barnette and we could add another 20 reasons why her background means that she would actually support the MAGA agenda.

The whole argument of “the conservative can’t win so vote for the liberal” doesn’t make any sense to me. If the conservative can’t win, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by running the conservative.
