Virginia AG threatens to 'bring suit' against protesters at Catholic parishes

The attorney general of Virginia warned that protesters who disrupt Catholic mass this Sunday in the name of abortion rights could face legal action.

State Attorney General Jason Miyares released a statement Saturday responding to the newfound threats of protest outside of Catholic parishes in Virginia and nationwide.

"I deeply respect the First Amendment rights of speech and assembly," Miyares wrote. "But no one has the right to interfere with the fundamental and natural right of all Virginians to practice their religion in peace."

Now this is the kind of push back Republicans need on a regular basis.

These insane liberals think they can get away with anything, they need to learn there is a price to pay for the mayhem they create.

Can you imagine if “white supremacists” announced that, tomorrow, Mother’s Day, they’d be turning up at A.M.E. churches nationwide to harass the congregants? The FBI, US Marshalls etc would be out en masse.

But these freaks say they’re going to disrupt Catholic masses across the country, and Jen Psaki says the president appreciates their passion.

What (exactly) are they protesting? They can get as many abortions as they want.

Isn't Virginia law more permissive about abortions than the laws of any country in Europe?

Went to Saturday evening mass today, the church is locking doors during service and warned Parishers to be careful about possible protests against the church.

Think some Constitutional carry may be warranted.

They are protesting for “the Womens right to choose”. You see, liberal women aren’t real smart and are basically helpless and reliant on men. They have no idea what contraceptives and birth control methods are available. A man wants sex and they have no idea what a condom is and just can’t say, “no”. Of course they can get abortions, but Mississippi prohibits an abortion after fifteen weeks, and evidently women don’t know that if she misses four menstrual cycles, she is probably pregnant.

After abortion leak, Justice Thomas warns Supreme Court can’t be ‘bullied’
Reuters ^ | May6th, 2022 | Rich Mckay

Thomas, one of the most conservative justices on the nine-member court, made only a few passing references to the protests over the leaked draft opinion as he spoke at a judicial conference in Atlanta.

As a society, “we are becoming addicted to wanting particular outcomes, not living with the outcomes we don’t like!” Thomas said.

“We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want. The events from earlier this week are a symptom of that.”

Bring suit?! How about arrest them, hold them without bail, prosecute them to the maximum extent of the law and if found guilty sentence them to the maximum allowed by law.

This better not be just talk. It is time to destroy these antifa terrorists who use threats and intimidation as their weapons and then physically destroy things when those tools do not work.

"But no one has the right to interfere with the fundamental and natural right of all Virginians to practice their religion in peace."

Cannot imagine why SCOTUS affirmed the right of the evil Westboro Baptist "Church" to harass the funerals of fallen soldiers (2011).
