https://sputniknews.com/20220506/updates-russia-does-not-threaten-us-doing-utmost-to-prevent-escalation-in-ukraine-—ambassador-1095298595.html

The Russian Defense Ministry has said the guided missile cruiser Moskva sank on its way to the port of Sevastopol for repairs on April 13 after a fire led to the explosion of ammunition. Washington and Kiev, however, have repeatedly claimed that the ship sank as the result of two Ukrainian anti-ship missiles.

The report said on Thursday, citing two senior US officials, that Ukraine already had targeting data on the Moskva warship and the United States only confirmed it was accurate, but other officials told the newspaper that US intelligence was critical to the alleged strike.

One official said the United States helped with more than just confirming the ship’s location, according to the report.

The Democrats must have been doing some really dirty things in Ukraine.

True or not, the U.S. official should keep his damn mouth shut!

Hmm. Article gives no hint that the administration is working hard to identify and stop the buck idiot “senior officials” from spewing yet more highly classified information. We can conclude these are planned leaks. Biden is too demented and desperate for “credit” to understand that his bragging goads the Russians into a military response.

It’s past time for Biden and the Vice Idiot to step aside, preferably in a calm transition to a caretaker government (experienced, calm, capable, non-partisan).

Charles XII of Sweden, Napoleon, and Hitler all got into unnecessary wars with Russia and got greased. Now Nitwit Biden is doing the same thing. Even if we “win,” we’ll lose.

The administration has been acting from the outset like they have something good up their sleeves, like little kids in on the secret of dad’s Christmas present for mom.

They thought the sanctions, the same type that brought the Canadian truckers' protest to its knees, was going to destroy the Russian economy.

Whoops.

It made Russia's energy exports even more valuable, and the Russians WILL get back that 300 billion that the West stole from them by freezing their foreign reserves.

Yep, someone wants a war real real bad.

If we find out who did this, they should be tried for treason
and executed.

the Biden administration is working overtime taunting Russia. Now, why do you suppose they are doing that???

Answer: the Biden bunch is baiting Russia into an incident. Maybe shooting down an American plane, sinking a US ship, “accidental” missile strike killing an American politician. That, of course, will precipitate American military reaction. And here we go again. I really believe the Administration is seeking a scenario like that.

I think Russia would go nuclear only as a last resort. They know American retaliatory strikes will be on the way within 90 seconds and they know how they are targeted. Putin’s name is on one of the first.

I think Putin is smart enough to not get drawn into something tit for tat with the US. I would bet he knows he’ll come out on the short end. Knowing that Russia is better prepared to survive an all out exchange, my bet is that he would surprise us by going big right off the bat, .

Then you add in the rumors of his failing health...

The Russians just might help some islamo crazies blow up a U.S ship somewhere as pay back. U.S might live to regret this kind of involvement if true

I’ve been assured by our shirtless Vlad crew that the ship remains a float without so much is even a scratch

I don’t think, as long as the continental US isn’t hit, that we would respond with a launch on Russia.

If we launched against Russia, and they did the same, we are all done for. Neither side has the ability to intercept all. I think if the Russians used a tactical weapon, our bluff would be called. And we would fold, I think.

this is the elephant in the living room.

they seized power, they know they are about to lose a lot of it, and they aren’t going to permit it.

if it requires a full-blown war with russia to accomplish that, so be it.

history is full of stuff like this. it is the most obvious play in the book for them, unfortunately.

the next leak will be that we helped target the sites in russia.

this is so transparent, if one has their eyes open.

a fair % of the population does not.
