Former Attorney General Bill Barr suggested a special counsel may need to be appointed to discover who released the draft Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade and said the leaker could potentially be charged with obstruction of justice.
Chief Justice John Roberts has ordered the marshal of the court to begin an investigation to discover who leaked Justice Samuel Alito’s ruling striking down the landmark 1973 decision, but Barr said that might not be enough.

I believe the powers that be already know who leaked it and their identity will be kept secret.
The entire point of this exercise was to rile up the left, get them to the polls and burn a few buildings down along the way.
This was not done without the knowledge and permission of those who seek to enhance their own power..
So in 2082 after the perp has been dead for 20 years the investgation will conclude. But not before letting the DC connected lawyers club grift for tens of millions of dollars.

It only works out for agencies that want to whitewash problems or avoid accountability. That’s what IG’s are for; they protect agency leadership from being exposed for their ineptitude, mismanagement and waste. For them an internal investigative organization is exactly what they want.

These guys are going to do whatever they can to overshadow and deep-six the revelations in “2000 Mules”. The timing is no coincidence.

No one will be held accountable just like they never are.
Imagine all the evidence of fraud and corruption that Barr knows about yet chose not to prosecute. And here he is advocating for a prosecutor. What hypocrisy.
why not just “interview” the two top suspects, yesterday. This would be solved by now.
