She’s 28 and still in college...
Considering the fact that she is also bi.
Frat party’s...
Sorority party’s....
Who has time for sleep and classes
Not unusual in the LDS sect. Evidently her "mission" came before or within her college tenure.
Imagine the Disney portrayal of a Bob Newhart or Fraser Crane character launched in a prime time as a 'family-oriented' sitcom--a wacky but charming shrink who makes child molestation and bestiality funny.
Why do homosexuals insist on transitioning their identity to their perversion and demand that everyone take notice and applaud it, “celebrate” it?
I have always pondered this question. The gut feeling of conscience/spiritual conviction always comes up. If they get the masses to endorse their guilty behavior, they’ll at least have an argument in the end. On top of, relief from the gnawing of doing something against the natural order. Then they’ll sense to have a say in front of the final Judge. “Hey, society excepted me. It is the guilty one!”
Think of a soldier killing under orders from their higher power.
“She could have gone to UC Berkley “
Read the article.
It becomes news, because it made the people at NBC think she is brave and courageous, pushing a liberal cause, in a place where that liberal cause is against the ideology of the institution.
If she had flashed a message with some Bible verse on it, it would not be news.
Exactly! "Sexual orientation" is a woke term. "Sexual preference" is the accurate term.
..everyone is naked underneath their garments.....advanced college hijinks....explains why they did it. I hope they didn’t leave urine and bits of feces in it( I am not sure if they wash those gowns after each use)
One of my classmates chose not to hide. He rode his motorcycle bare naked past the class commencement ceremony. He went on to earn an MD degree.
Completely agree.
Was she forced to attend this school?
She attended knowing full well what it was. She’s being disrespectful to them, not the other way around.
Only big media is allowed to determine who is brave and who is prejudiced
Great Heavens ! Next thing you know they’ll be drinking Coffee !!!
Me, me, me!!
Not defending this girl, but that is a naive, conventional statement.
Not sure I understand where you're going with that, RoosterRedux. Amplify your thoughts on school "rules" (policy)?
College is a place where young people rebel against societal norms, ideas, rules, etc. (well, at least it used to be).
Not all rebellion is for a good cause, of course, but the freedom to protest (even if there is a penalty) is part of the foundation of our country.
You characterized this as a protest. I guess I can see that; but in view of the Provost’s clear prohibition on demonstrations at the graduation, I think it was rebellious grandstanding, more or less equivalent to streaking at a ball game.
Uni graduations are huge and costly events to which thousands of parents travel and spend money to attend; in this case, the predominantly Mormon parents heterosexual enough to have produced the students now graduating from BYU. I doubt they were much impressed by her tantrum.
Bingo.
The fact that she served her mission in Oregon says a lot.
The bright kids go to BYU’s intensive language school and these kids go to foreign countries for their missions...my dentist, a BYU grad, spent his mission in China and speaks Mandarin fluently.
This kid is a dummy.
