BYU, which is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, restricts LGBTQ students from dating or showing signs of affection while enrolled at the university. Students who do so can be reported to school officials and are at risk of being disenrolled.
For 28-year-old Orr, who was raised in the church and served an 18-month church mission in Oregon, she said she didn’t realize until she was halfway through her education at the university that she was bisexual.

Nevertheless, what this girl did was wrong. You are supposed to play by the rules. And for the media to act like it is heroic is disgusting.

There is no “sexual orientation” when you can decide if you’re male or female.
What a coward she is.

If she was so ‘brave’ she would have worn her rainbow during the school year, not when she wasn’t able to be asked about it.

It wasn't that long ago that LGBTQ types were considered to have a mental disorder by the APA, now they're behind the movement attempting to normalize pedophilia. The folks who warned of a 'slippery slope' back then where right.

While the policy is characterized as anti-LBGTQetc, it is only proper that one keeps one’s sexual proclivities private.
As for BYU, being that it is a religious school, it can have policies based on the doctrines of its church.
So what if you are bi? Most men are attracted to many women, most women to many men, and yet monogamy is still the ideal. Even the LDS came around.
So you never got to explore your feelings for Zoe or Maddie. You also didn’t get to with Will and Hunter and Jack.
Nevertheless she was quite happy to attend BYU - I believe practicing Mormons whose families are in good standing, i.e. have paid the tithe, attend free. She could have gone to any number of universities accepting - even endorsing and fostering - LGBTQ standards.
This is one confused woman.
Indeed--the 'progressives' are following Mao's red book like the blueprint he intended it to be. Sad that our society has been so dumbed down most don't even realize it.
