Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis took aim at San Francisco, calling the city a "dumpster fire" while expressing fears over what would happen if companies there relocated to Florida.
"There is cause for concern," DeSantis said during an event Monday. "Texas would have all these companies moved from California over the years. So you'd have companies move from San Francisco to Austin, and they'd bring hundreds of employees with them. And those employees would vote the exact same way they voted that turned San Francisco into the dumpster fire that it is
DeSantis expressed fears that California voters could begin moving to Florida, saying they fail to make the connection between "leftist" policies and the problems they left behind.
"It's like the leftism, they will not draw the connection between their leftist ideology and the destruction that's all around them," DeSantis said. "It is a problem because I do think there’s a class of voters who would come to Florida, and they would continue to vote the same way."
The Republican governor's comments come as many high-profile companies and entrepreneurs in the technology industry have either expressed interest in, or already have, moved from California to Texas and Florida.

Every blue rat city and the government is a dumpster fire…
He’s not wrong.
San Francisco is a dumpster fire.
San Francisco leftists, if they move elsewhere, will largely continue to vote for the same leftist idiocy that destroyed S.F.
Every city of a decent size is destroyed by Democrats and it’s demographics.
Gotta love him. I think he has evolved into a very good leader. As you can remember he barely won. Appeared a bit stiff at first. He’s young and willing to take on the arrows on our behalf. We can all pray for his wife’s good health.
It’s not easy to turn a migrating liberal into a conservative. They’d have to be mugged, multiple times. Barring that, unfortunately they’ll keep their old way of thinking in their new homes.
LOL! What else would we expect from a grand wizard white suprema-cyst. This is as much pop corn time as hearing the whining from twitter folks.
He’s right. Some of our congressional districts turned blue after massive amount of Californians moved in.
But this Californian, now in Tennessee and soon to depart for Florida, will make his state a little bit redder.
Zactly!
So let me get this straight: DeSantis is worried about fraud elections in his state but he totally ignores all the fraud the Democrats do in California? Also all those leftists in California who are moving out were originally from states like Florida, so they are just moving back home.
He’s our crown prince. Our bench is not too shabby either. This nation needs to veer itself away from senators as nominees to the WH. They throw rocks-comes with the territory. As the old rats die off there is no young Clinton/Obama on the horizon who can hypnotize the suburban housewife. They’ll turn to nefarious actions. That’s how Biden won and it’s now behind us. Won’t change.
The Land Of Nancy
DeSantis is correct on both points.
,iberals just aren’t content unless they are destroying everyone and everything in their paths. They truly are among the most miserable people on earth.
This is whatni suspect is gonna happen to,Twitter- liberals will remain and turn it into a,racist, anti-semite hell-hole,for everyone else (I know it already is, but it will likely, get worse if that’s possible now that they can’t ban people on gher anymore.
California has been exporting political mental illness since the 70’s. I live in WA state and we hated Californians moving here. But what is to stop them? Now Seattle and King county is California’s little prodigy. They are a cancer and they spread to wherever they haven’t already destroyed.
Libs like locusts, move in, devour everything in their path and then move onto the next host. Fl does have its lib centers but they are mostly contained at the moment. Interesting the last count I saw was that a majority of the new voting registrations of those moving in are GOP.
