During Sunday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Washington Post tech columnist Taylor Lorenz said one of the reasons she revealed the identity of the so-called “Libs of TikTok” Twitter account poster was because “for all we knew, this could have been a foreign actor.”
Lorenz also said given the “Libs of TikTok” poster’s willingness to conduct interviews with other media outlets, it was “quite important and in the public’s interest” to reveal who she was.
“Well, it wasn’t — I would say it’s equally important describing the power that this account has,” she said. “I think it’s rare to see an account gain so much prominence so quickly and be shaping these narratives in such an effective way, especially against trans people. So, I was — I mean, my story was kind of long, but I really wanted to make the case like why this account mattered. And I think it’s incredibly important, you know, as someone that covers the influencer industry to know who is exerting influence in this way. I mean, for all we knew, this could have been a foreign actor, right, or someone — we just didn’t know.” “And so, I thought, hey, look, this account has massive power, massive influence. This woman is basically on an entire right-wing media tour. She gives interviews to The New York Post, Tucker, all of that, and registered as a media company, registered a trademark. So, yeah, I wanted to — I thought it was quite important and in the public’s interest to find out who was running it."

Who cares if it’s a foreign actor? Were the posts legit liberals of tik tok? If they are that’s on the media for trying to dox someone revealing truth. Why is the press afraid of sharing what liberals are really saying and doing? That’s the question to answer, not who is behind an account highlighting them.

These goons are so brain dead that they don’t even know that these internet services are made for world-wide consumption, and anyone using any of these services could be called a “foreign actor” depending on where the reportee is accessing the service from. This is some silly shiite.
But it wasn’t a foreign actor... and she went to press knowing that. By the time she went to press, she thoroughly knew that.
She wanted to ruin the life of a fellow citizen, deprive that person of a means to support herself and her family, and then gloat about it on the same imaginary soap box that she is now going to be destroyed upon.
This bitter old woman, as mentally ill as she clearly is, deserves all of the deplatforming, isolation, and demonitization that she wished upon her enemies. I’d bet a dollar that the libsoftiktok lady will have a much better 2022 than Taylor Lorenz, and if Lorenz would have just kept her yap shut, none of it would have had to be this way.

She’s doing exactly what libs have always done, disregarding obvious facts because they come from what she perceives as a “right wing” source. Libs went especially over the edge in this way when it came to anything Trump said. If Trump said that 2+2=4, then they were going to automatically dismiss that fact because it came from the “mean orange man.”
