I absolutely LOVE “Skeleton Goes Twang”!
His videos are weird things that would sound better with the old hisses and pops of an old record player.
The Mississippi Flood--Vernon Dalhart, singing as Al Craver (1927)
Love the Wildwood Flower. The oldies are great. Thanks for the tunes for the troops, Fiji! ((HUGS))

Bob Dylan first heard it from a guy named Dave Van Ronck, who was a modest celeb in the village at the time. Later Van Ronck researched the song and learned it was really about a womans reformatory in New Orleans. He was not 100% sure, but the story fit, as the reformatory had a rising sun on the front gate and was known as the "house of the rising sun".

Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...how are you and Tippy doing this fine evening?
Liking to go for walks? Getting to know her new porch?
Four laps around the park is a mile, and we did it twice today!
She’s such a sweetie.
And she LOVES the porch. :-)
