The Miami Herald warned Wednesday that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is taking a page from disgraced former President Richard Nixon’s playbook with his attack on Disney.
An editorial in the influential South Florida paper condemned DeSantis, a potential GOP 2024 presidential candidate, for his push “to strip Walt Disney World of the special taxing district that independently governs it” as “an act of pure vengeance” and “the stuff of Richard Nixon and his enemies list.”

DeSantis does what is correct and then is compared to Richard Nixon with an enemy's list. That proves DeSantis is right.
These progressives need a new playbook besides Richard Nixon all the time.

They think the 50th anniversary of Watergate gives them license to spread this manure.
Nixon was involved in standing up for his people who did the break-in not knowing what they were up to.
Nixon stood by his men the “cover up” and paid a price for it.
That’s my interpretation of Watergate and it does not bear resemblance to what DeSantis is doing here.
