Ron DeSantis Solidifies 2024 Stance as Republicans Follow Florida's Lead
Newsweek via MSN ^ | April 13, 2022 | Alexandra Hutzler

Posted on 04/13/2022 7:29:18 AM PDT by Republicans 2016 2020

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appears to be cementing his stance as a prominent Republican leader ahead of 2024 as other red states mimic the Sunshine State's policies.

DeSantis has been leading the charge on several GOP priorities, including the coronavirus pandemic, critical race theory and LGBTQ issues.

"He's obviously the most high-profile Republican governor in the country," Brad Coker, the director at Mason-Dixon Polling and Strategy in Florida, told Newsweek. "No one else has his level of national coverage, and he's the center of attention in Florida."

The Florida leader was one of the first in the nation to begin reopening their economies, prompting other Republican officials to follow suit. Not only did DeSantis reopen his state earlier than other areas, but he also pushed back hard on mask mandates and vaccine passports. Last year, DeSantis ordered mask requirements in schools be banned—an action taken by Texas officials not long after.

It isn’t about DeSantis’ political career.

It is about what DeSantis will do for the country as President.

2028 is too late to wait for that.

America needs him to be elected President in 2024.

"According to the emails I'm getting from Trump, he's running for president in 2024"

Can you give us a full and exact quote from your Trump emails wherein he states he's definitely running for Prez again?

Thanks.

Many of Florida’s Cuban politicos believe that the more Hispanics the better because, as the largest Hispanic group, the Cubans will lead the others and dominate state politics by surfing a Hispanic demographic wave. And Florida’s agricultural and business community are reliant on cheap immigrant labor, legal or illegal they care not. Whenever Florida GOP opponents of illegal immigration get going on the issue in the legislature, they get their chain yanked by GOP donor agriculture and business interests, like a cartoon guard dog in the backyard whose chain runs out as snickering burglars loot the house.

Not his fault. R’s schemed against him from the start. Blacklisted anyone supporting him. Sent spies and saboteurs. And still he prevailed.

You're right.

And during the time Trump was fighting off turncoat Republicans, Democrats. deep state thugs and quislings in Intelligence - in spite of the battles Trump kept the country going and made things better.

Biden has the full support of democrats, the deep state and press bimbos and 'pretentious men' of DC... With all that support Biden falls on his face daily.

Trump has lots of scores to settle.

He might conclude a revisited WH is not the best place for it.

"Until this last election I thought there was no hope for Virginia."

Youngkin is a better presidential candidate than DeSantis -- and neither measure up to President Trump.

Youngkin celebrated his inauguration by punching CRT in its ugly face.

Gov. Youngkin eliminated a CRT math initiative called VMPI (VaMPIre) in his first week in office. Among other immediate anti-CRT actions, Youngkin rooted out a Marxist "10-year plan" to permanently overwhelm Virginia high-school and middle-school math classes with CRT, greatly accelerated after a tipping point, a 2018 Marxist manifesto, "Catalyzing Change in High School Mathematics", which was loaded with CRT newspeak specifically to introduce CRT into mathematics:

Specifically designed so that students would go from class-to-class and never be able to escape CRT. Who wrote this nonsense? Surprise, surprise, the National Council of Teachers and Mathematics and their "woke math" series, blending in Roach-hell Gutierrez' "Building Support for Scholarly Practices in Mathematics Methods":

"On many levels, mathematics itself operates as whiteness. Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as white...perpetuate a perception that mathematics was largely developed by Greeks and other Europeans."

DeSantis has had 3 1/2 goddamn years to get his "Stop WOKE Act" done -- and it's still sitting on his desk -- Youngkin did it in one week!

Furthermore, DeSantis' bill is a defensive measure in a state where CRT has not been fully pogromized; Youngkin took on a blue state where CRT has already been fully embedded in schools statewide, in fact, Loudon County was one of the first targets in the US outside of Kalifornia, with their bourgeois Marxist CRT school board integrating CRT into their curriculum -- all until they f^cked up visibly with arresting Scott Smith for insisting on an investigation after his ninth-grade daughter was assaulted in a bathroom by a tranny. *spit*

The country is called USA,not TSA.

Trump should be thought of as a Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt; not as a Hitler or Castro. In the end it should be about what is best for the country’s future & not the personality of one man. It should NOT be the Trump States of America. It should be united by the Constitutional Republic where the Constitution reigns supreme.

Wishing DeSantis be president will not necessarily get him elected. The MSM is already denigrating him. What he really needs is national name recognition. People I talk to from other states never heard of DeSantis.

Trump had his shot. I don’t understand people on a website which is virtually 50% trashing trump picks including very recent ones turning around and saying in the next breath hes the best choice for round 3. The guy cannot assemble a good loyal team to save his own life and it cost him in 2020 and he’s not getting any younger. DeSantis for all his faults is better for 2024.

“I could vote for a DeSantis/Abbott ticket”.

Running Trump’s 2nd term first, then two terms of DeSantis would give us twelve years to get our ship of state upright.

You can’t have DeSantis - we need him to keep Florida Red. DeSantis narrowly defeated that black commie Gillum in 2018
