DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (CBS46) - Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a bill Tuesday making it legal to carry a gun in public without a permit.
“SB 319 makes sure that law abiding Georgians, law abiding Georgians, including our daughters, and your family too, can protect themselves without having to have permission from your state government. The Constitution of the United States gives us that right, not the government,” said Gov. Kemp, (R) Georgia.
The governor signed the so-called Constitutional Carry Act into law Tuesday afternoon at a gun store in Douglasville.
“The logic that if we put more guns on the streets, we put more guns in people’s hands, we will have less crime is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard,” said Rep. Roger Bruce, (D) District 61.
With Tuesday’s signing, Georgia becomes the 25th state with some type of constitutional carry law.
About time. And, it apparently go into effect immediately upon his signing.
I’m still not voting for him, but I’ll take this win!
If they can show any evidence where its gotten worse for states who have adopted this and this is a direct cause of the problems, I am all ears to review that data.

If you are eligible to have a carry permit,
you do not need to pay the money to get one.
The only reason to get one now is for interstate reciprocity.

Have all passed Constitutional Carry so far this year after 5 states passed it last year. Nebraska is now on deck to make it 5 states this year.

Kemp is trying to save his own skin, but the citizens will benefit.

Remember Brian Kemp just a few days ago killed a bill to unseal some ballot boxes for a forensic audit, even though he was presented with 40,000+ affidavits for election fraud.

Kemp needs to sign a universal Gov’t ID Law so voting can proceed without Kemp/Abrams cheating being rampant.
