If Russia was still a communist country, the experts would stay we have no business inferring. I remember how every left-wing group in the U.S. and much of the rest of the world opposed the entry of the US into WWII, unil of course June 22, 1941 when Germany invaded the USSR
First Zelensky was demanding Javelins and Stingers. Now repeated calls for heavy weapons. Are they running low on tanks and armored vehicles?

I have no problem whatsoever with sending Ukraine weapons. But I would not support putting any US boots on the ground in Ukraine or helmets in the air above Ukraine.
Europe can handle this alone - and should.
I just think most of those weapons are going to end up in the hands of criminals. I’m sure Ukrainians are nice enough people but its an amazingly corrupt country even by Eastern Europe standards.
We backed Mujahideen in the 80s and ended up with Osama bin laden...I think we are doing the same thing now.
