Trump is sitting on a fortune. Republicans want it for the midterms
Nbc ^

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump is sitting on more than $110 million in campaign cash at a time when his party is trying to win control of Congress — and it's starting to irk some in the GOP.

They are watching him rake in money from persistent email solicitations to the party's small-donor base and at VIP receptions connected to a full schedule of campaign-style rallies. And they see a man stockpiling a war chest for another presidential run instead of using his prowess to boost the party.

Funny how they believe *they* are the Republican Party,
instead of the truth that the base despises them and has passed them by.

I’ll never give the GOPe money again.

Folks,

Trump knows we have to win the midterms. He will do what is needed. But he also knows we have to win the presidential election.

He knows the targets, we will get there...............

If the gop wants the money, they should have supported Trump while he was president instead of fighting him tooth and nail at every turn and then stabbing him, and his voters, in the back at every opportunity.

I agree with you on the masks but “corrupt” elections have been around and counting/disposing of ballots is a practice that democrats have practiced routinely for decades particularly in the six or seven corrupt states in 2020 but also South Texas. (remember LBJ stuffing ballot boxes and then remember what his Presidency led to).

I made that decision myself a few years ago. I got a phone call from the party and explained to the young man that I don’t donate to the party, I only donate to individual candidates I support. He was flummoxed. He couldn’t really grasp the concept.

Doing (voting) the right thing doesn’t cost any money. RINOs don’t want the fools that vote for them to know this and they spend much of these ‘donations’ to obscure this fact.

The days of lesser evils are over for the GOPe in much of the country. And having voter fraud on top of it leaves even less wiggle room for the turncoats.

I only give to specific candidates. Newt Gingrich taught me that if I give to the RNC they torpedo non-RINO candidates.

All true. Also, as long as Ronna ROMNEY McDaniel is running that s**tshow, no money going their way from this way.

Let McCarthy and McConnell shake the money trees. They’re the Republican congressional “leadership” (such as it is).

“Trump should ONLY fund MAGA candidates.”

He should, but is he? When he verbally endorses bad, Biden-loving candidates like Morgan Ortagus and other Never Trumpers, is he giving them money as well? He needs to step up his game when it comes to endorsements. Extreme due diligence is necessary.

and it's starting to irk some in the GOP.

The same Never-Trump crowd who are irked by anything that Trump does.

That’s exactly what I told the RNC when they called me.

“Trump has the right ideas and the right approach.”

The right ideas, yes, but if he were a little less belligerent he’d collect more votes.

First, we need a RINOectomy!

No Trump support = No contributions.

My view is that Trump has been in two elections, and won them both. I like his belligerence and I think most people do. The media doesn’t, but I don’t listen to them.

I just had a call from a guy calling on behalf of Fat Rona, looking for donations. I told him we only donate to individual candidates that we are sure will represent us. We don’t want our treasure going to RINOs and Assistant Democrats.
He kept talking right over me, I hung up.

"Of course Trump will win."

Not if the Dems put up a moderate. For arguments sake, let's say the Dems run, oh I don't know, NYC Mayor Eric Adams. He's a former cop, minority, liberal views but can lean moderate compared to the lunatics running the party. You'll laugh and say he can't win a national election, but I think moderates would vote for him en masse against Trump. IMHO.

The Republicans will have the House and maybe Senate in 2022. If they don't make progress, a moderate Dem has a good chance in 2024.

It would be nice if some of all that money could be used on decent legal representation for the Patriots languishing in a gulag, who are there because of their support of him.

Trump should ONLY fund MAGA candidates.

Including MAGA DINOs.
