The U.N. climate panel has said that to keep rising global temperatures under 1.5 degrees Celsius this century, emissions from warming gases must be halved by the end of the decade. Well, there it is folks. If the U.N. says it, then it must be true.

What panics me is the thought of Ayanna Pressley behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, or as a policy maker in the Transportation Committee.
