They are comfortable in their lack of accountability. At some point it will run out, but at least for last several decades, they seem to get away with everything.
I don’t think they care. It’s pedal to the metal time for them, like 2009-2011. So they’re going for broke. And they still have control of lots of elections so there’s no fear in them.
They have perfected voter fraud and it will be in high gear this election.
Not that they want to be crushed, they just know they can steal any election and any time...

This has always been the easiest way to stick the results of your blatant social engineering (i.e. total economic collapse) on the opposition party, has it not? It’s not like the Republicans will even remotely try to fix anything once they are back “in power.”

Like most, Kurt Schlichter seems to think there will be an honest election in November and the Democrats will simply turn their power over to the Republicrats.
I think neither will happen.
More like they know elections don’t really matter and can be managed and easily mitigated.

1. They are unaware and/or don't care about just how much ill will they have generated.
2. They figure their media arm will continue to gaslight/cover for them
3. They are planning to cheat on the scale of 2020, and figure they have it in the bag
4. They figure their confederates in the Republican paarty will sabotage any efforts to right the ship of state
5. They have something cooking that will make any large election win, even Maga dominated, irrelevant.
The police at this point protect criminals and democrats.
I wish they’d defund them so we can finally take out the garbage.
It’s almost as if the Democrats know that Democrats will lose massively and those seats will be filled with assistant Democrats, so what’s the problem again for Dems?

I think some of what is happening is they are trying to keep their rabid base, so their policies are getting loonier and loonier.
The Democrat party is not monolithic, that is the members of the party do share any common goals, beliefs or even language. What they do share is the desire to use the power they gain as Democrats to push their individual agenda.
This is why they appear so hypocritical at time. Each small sub-group of the Democrat party have their own beliefs and they are often in polar opposite of other sub-groups.
This “big tent” approach worked well for Democrats for years. The reason, they always had adults in charge (with their own agenda). They made promises to all these various groups and when they could not deliver on those promises they blamed the evil Republicans, and the right wing conspiracy, and Fox news and Rush Limbaugh. The truth is they never planned on giving them anything.
So what is going on now? Easy, they have become too successful. They have managed to take over almost every one of institutions from schools to entertainment to our media to our courts. There is no one that can stop them.
They have said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. 2022 America is an example on one party that has gained so much power they can do anything they want.
This power they have will not last. A revolution is brewing in America and the only question is will be be like the American revolution or the French revolution.
The Democrats will determine that by the way they deal with the 2022 elections.

To complicate matters more, even if the Republicans do take the House and the Senate too, look at the leadership. Mitch and Kevin are losers just like the long list of "Republicans" before them who were all losers. Gotta have new leadership too or the Republicans will sell out just like always.
It’s great strategy for the dims. They know things are going to get much worse over the next few years and they want nothing to do with it. Repugs will get all the blame since they will be in control of both houses. The sheeple will eat this up and elect another dim to the white house in 2024. This is the end of the beginning. Total carnage is coming soon.
It how they do things. Shove through a metric crap-ton of Socialist Agenda items, get blown out in the midterms, then spend the next few years blaming the Republicans in charge for the resulting mess that manifests itself a year or two later.
