Have you noticed it’s becoming harder to differentiate satire from reality? When I first saw the headline about a city in California approving a program to provide transgender and nonbinary residents a guaranteed income, I was sure it had to be from the Babylon Bee.
Oh, but it’s not. It’s also not an April Fool’s joke. It is very much accurate. Earlier this week, the Palm Springs City Council voted unanimously to fund a pilot program that would guarantee a basic income for transgender and nonbinary residents.
So far, $200,000 has been allocated for this program, which is far less than the $900,000 the two organizations originally wanted but still just as insane.
Guaranteed income programs distribute these funds with no strings attached.
According to David Brinkman, CEO and president of DAP Health, one of the organizations behind the pilot program, transgender people are “one of the most marginalized populations in our city who face some of the highest levels of housing insecurity, joblessness and discrimination.”
According to a report from the Desert Sun, the two organizations behind this program say it will “provide between $600 and $900 a month to 20 people who live, work or otherwise spend the majority of their time in Palm Springs.”
I’m not exactly sure what $900 a month in Palm Springs even gets you. Does it even cover the cost of gas per month?

God will not tolerate fags, effeminate, etc. In Gen 19 He destroyed them. In Leviticus 20, it was a capital offense. In Romans 1, even though Christians did not have the prerogative to execute these perverts, Paul said they were still worthy of death.
Knowing how God feels about these degenerates, any nation that elevates and promotes such practices will not be preserved by God.

This country is doomed. The more you hear and see you know that the Devil is loose. My oldest son was born in Palm Springs back in 82. It was just before the boom of the 80s and it was a nice little town. Little did I know then how far this country would slide.
This is the early stages of taxpayer funded Critical Race Theory applied to non-binary trans people using an equity policy. Wait until this thing becomes a train wreck.
Translation: Their lives are a total wreck, and “transgenderism” is just one of the many symptoms.
I did read about a year ago that Palm Springs is 50% same sex. And several times I have heard that the Palm Springs Dinah Shore Golf Classic is the largest lesbian festival on Planet Earth. Look to Palm Springs to see what the future holds for the various Queer Nation initiatives. Sort of like studying scorpions and snakes to see what happens in same sex psychology class rooms.
Hmmmm. Whatever you pay people for, you WILL ALWAYS get more of. Why should you pay rent but your transgender neighbor doesn’t have to??
I hope that some normal people do try to grab some of the money to force them to define what constitutes being “transgender.” The ensuing proceedings would be like arguing over who’s the real Easter Bunny.
I don’t think the politicians who came up with this BS are going to be in office much longer, even in Palm Springs.
