I did read about a year ago that Palm Springs is 50% same sex. And several times I have heard that the Palm Springs Dinah Shore Golf Classic is the largest lesbian festival on Planet Earth. Look to Palm Springs to see what the future holds for the various Queer Nation initiatives. Sort of like studying scorpions and snakes to see what happens in same sex psychology class rooms.

One of my shirt-tail relatives (very wealthy man and his “wife”) moved to Palm Springs for this very reason. It’s chock full of gays, rich ones.
