Recall how the FEC trampled Dnesh D’Sousa for his alleged $20K donations they deemed improper. Under threat to do worse to him, he plead guilty and suffered a $30K fine, 5 years probation, and months of community service.
Here there are no limits on the DNC nor on Clinton, and the FEC threatened nobody this time. Kid gloves it seems. Or wet noodles perhaps.
The double standards are rife.
Does any foresee justice forthcoming within our system anytime soon?

That IS the scandal.
They owe the Government more for the Trump impeachment fiasco. All those Mueller legal costs that were the result of their scheme.

So, the price of corruption is about 10% surcharge on the payments made to the lawyers. They paid $1,000.000.00 for the dossier, and paid $113,000.00 for the fine. Pocket change and irrelevant since it cost $45,000.000.00 for Mueller’s fake investigation. The sweeper could pay that fine and still have cab fare home.
The FEC is comped like everything else.
It’s not much, but it’s definitely going to have an impact on Trump’s lawsuits.
A brand new pickup with the fixins’ costs just a tad less than this fine.
Buy a dossier, buy a truck for penance. Her campaign budget for food was more than that.
