I worked twice for Col Gillem and met his GO brother. That family has been in the military with GO in every generation since the Civil War.
I also served as SGS NCOIC for CINCs Gen Wickham and Sennewald. Also SGS for LTC Lindsay at XVIII ABC as well as two MG JUSMAG-K and 82d Div Cdr Stenographer. Infantry is the best job though in the 82d.
This was done while Trump was still in office. Nancy Pelosi ordered this slipped into a bill that would have looked very bad for Trump to veto if I remember correctly. I believe it was something to do with military/troop funding or maybe the bipartisan “plan” to avoid a shut-down.
That’s the Democrat modus operandi. Slip it in under the radar and it will be a fait accompli before anyone can debate it or know about it.
But to be fair, how many people do you see protesting this shyt? How many called their congresspeople? How many are calling the bases? How many boys taking off their uniforms and throwing them down and walking off these “bases” do you see??
We just keep taking it...
This must be stopped. Long live Dixie and her defenders.
Don’t count on it. They’re more likely to name one after the South hating ardent Lincoln supporter who wrote for Greeley’s New York Tribune when it was the GOP’s party newspaper. I think his name was Karl Marx.

Nikki Haley will probably approve.
“Don’t count on it (naming a military base for Eisenhower).”
They might throw a sop to the American remnant, but I would be surprised.
For one thing, “they” are in control - not you, me or even Biden. And “they” are not gracious winners.
The new names will represent blue state-culture.
Fort Barabbas, I’m guessing.
“Fort Barabbas, I’m guessing.”
That would be fitting. Fort Obama too. I do want one named after Nikki Haley, her early role in eradicating Southern memory deserves recognition. Perhaps they could fly the flag of India alongside Old Glory.
I sometimes refer to DC as Join Base Swampy.
I was disappointed he signed it too, but remember that Pelosi tacked it onto a bill that would have been highly politically damaging to ANY president who tried to veto it. It was added to a bill that had to do with troop pay/military funding. Trump did speak out publicly against it, but he was outflanked by the Democrat controlled House.
It isn’t Trump’s fault, or even the Democrats’ fault. Our society is weak and hallow and doesn’t want to bother defending itself...
THAT is the real problem.
The Left are such losers.
““I bet there’s a Harvey Milk fort someday.................”
The navy already has a ship named for it courtesy of senator dianne frankenswine.”
I’ll never understand why the Navy ever needed or wanted a floating honey bucket.
Fort Anthony’s Weiner?
Fort Anthony’s Weiner?
I was going to reply to your post below but forgot, so better late then never, I am now. Excellent post; sums up what is waiting for us if the American people don’t get off their duffs and vote Pub in the November mid-term elections. We are hanging off the precipice by about 2 fingers now. Crunch time or we will be slaves to “woke”.
“Bases To Be Re-Named......”
Cancel culture at its finest!
Soon we will be mind-numbed robots with no past, no present, no future.....easily-controlled because there will be nothing personal remaining inside our heads except how to make it through each day with vanishing money, no gas, empty pantries, rigged elections, controlled media and murders in the street.
We might as well give up our right-of-thinking at all !
In order to survive, the only thing left inside our brains will be a dictatorship-approved train of thought......which will consist of lock-step allegiance to the dictates of the Big Brothers in the DC Swamp....mandating and controlling our thinking for us.
Which Sharpton, the 1990s version or the current?
