The shifting sands of Democrat gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke’s gun control plans have solidified, for now, into a pledge to buy back AR-15s and AK-47s from Texans if the state legislature will support doing it.
O’Rourke spoke with Texas Tribune CEO Evan Smith on Saturday and KVUE reported O’Rourke’s comments.

Don’t worry about that, you won’t have anything to put it in, as your digital currency ‘card’ will not work until you’ve accounted for all of your weapons, and then turned them in.
You can’t “buy-back” what you didn’t sell me in the first place. If you want to buy ITV rom me, my starting price is $1,000,000 but there might be some wiggle room.

What’s really discouraging about this is that in a sane world this clown would get about 35% of the vote.
I’m predicting this is not going to be a walkway for Abbott. He will win, but it’s not going to be the overwhelming landslide it ought to be.
In some respects that’s good.
Otherwise Beta and his donors might finally pack it in.
