The ChiComs have the same problem the Russkies do: a great looking military on paper and in parades, but so much massive amounts of corruption that most of their crap probably won’t work in the field, just like their Russian counterparts.

Their only edge, like the Russians, is all the nukes they’ve been working on secretly in order to win a nuclear first strike. Everything else is as shitty as any system run by communists.

Of course, the Putinistas will claim this is “fake news”...

Well that’s true, they’re probably testing against US military hardware as the best course of action. Putin really can’t get allies at this point, he doesn’t have the forces.

His ambitions met a brick wall.

He’s not losing. And their prenegotiated settlement will emerge soon enough. (Biden accidentally spilled the beans weeks ago.)

“US Intelligence” is hardly ever right on anything.

They were right about Russia invading, which a ton of Putinists on this forum were wrong about, even to the point where they were insulting everyone who disagreed with them and accusing them of being "NeoCon warmongers."

These same Putinists have now embraced a position that nothing is every true in the media, even pictures, videos and first hand witness reports, and they remind us about their position in every Ukrainian thread. Presumably their shitty blogs are still real though, since I've seen a few Putinists claiming Ukraine is home to Deep State secret military Biolabs working on super viruses! And they were also working on deep state nukes, secretly, without being detected, if not for Putin sweeping in to clean up this deep state WMD conspiracy!

killing two Russian commanders - Lt. Col. Dmitry Safronov, and Lt Col. Denis Glebov - in the process. Russia also tacitly acknowledged the loss of two other commanders - Colonel Konstantin Zizevsky and Lieutenant Colonel Denis Glebov

Article listed same guy twice, yet called him an "other" officer. Fog of war, I guess.

Yeah, let’s believe the mainstream media now.

Ukrainians should overthrow their illegitimate government.

You mean the one they voted for with a majority of voters? How's that work?

I don’t believe the article.

Ukrainians can at best bleed Putin until he just takes the black sea coast and Donbas. No way can they do any better

We won’t be getting the real truth for at least six months. If Putin is telling the truth, then this is over in less than a week. Somehow, I suspect that is not the case.

They will learn really fast from Russia example though. In 10 years Chinese military may be different. They have to actually engage in active war military operations though.

Both countries have not been in serious foreign wars with complex logistical deployments. Russia can’t even win a war on its borders.

Says a lot about the US Military in human personnel resources. But this is going to be a huge lesson for many nations afterwards.

I showed this video to my brother, a 20-year Navy NCO vet. He said the marching sailors may march nicely, but they still look like dorks - especially the officers, LOL

If you believe the Daily Junkmail you’ll believe CNN , too .

And yet, I've seen on this forum the Daily Mail promoting stories that we like, with no one complaining about them. Sounds like the Putinists on this forum are just butt hurt about being constantly wrong!

They were wrong on 9/11, wrong on Afghanistan being able to prevent Taliban from taking over, wrong on Lybia, wrong on almost everything else of any importance.
They were right on Putin invading Ukraine after Putin had massed over 100,000 troops on Ukraine's border for everyone to see?
That is supposed to be an impressive call? Don't make me laugh.

I have been thinking the same, that in the future they will work to learn from these mistakes, but another part of my mind says: “never underestimate the incompetence of corrupt kleptocrats like the Russians, Chinese, or our own Democratic party.”

And welcome their new Russian overlords, right? Strange that the Ukrainians are to feel so differently about that. And no, it's not the MSM that I'm believing. It's knowing that this would already be over if the Ukrainians truly preferred Putin to Zalensky.

If Putin has limited resources and resupply material, encircling a city and just sitting there will get the job done. Nothing reduces resistance like an empty belly. A next move by Putin may be to cut electricity to cities.

I’m sure it is just coincidence that Biden, Kerry, Pelosi and Romney all have children that work/worked for Ukraine Gas Companies.

“Putin doesn’t have enough military to do traditional Russian strategy.”

If nothing else is true, this is. There are nowhere near enough Russian forces deployed to overwhelm their enemies, not even enough firepower. They may win due to attrition, in time.
