General McKenzie forced the Comanches to the reservation by killing all their horses in Palo Duro Canyon in 1874.

FDR should never have supported the communist government. Let them bleed each other dry and then be on hand to pick up the pieces.

The corrupt Ukrainian government that created the whole Steele Dossier hoax to stop Trump

That's a new one! Did Elvis help out from the space ship?

No need to make up fantasies, the Steele Dossier was cooked up by people working for Hillary Clinton, most probably sitting in offices in the Washington DC area.

I went to high school with a lot of the great grand-children of Cheyenne warriors that fought General Custer.

And how many Americans have ever heard of the Holomodor? probably 5%? Why is that? Why does the media refuse to ever talk about this genocide?

An often overlooked factor in Russian imperialism is that it was largely land based. The pommies, Spanish, Frogs, Dutch etc preferred to go thousands of miles over the oceans to subjugate. Wasn’t anything left for Russkies. Well Alaska and some Islands nth of Japan.

I remember that history lesson in class as a kid, and The Great Train Rides. Absolutely horrible.

Ah yes, but nasty things were said, and their feelings were hurt.

I think Youtube removed documentaries of The Holodomor at one time, so I found one Bitchute.

The Ukrainians nevertheless blame the Russians. The single greatest reason why there is a Ukraine today is probably this event, embedded in folk memory. There is no getting around it.

Beating on the Ukrainians some more won’t change anything. Its like beating a man on the head with hammers in order to change his mind.

The bulk of Poland Stalin annexed actually ended up as parts of Belorussia.

And in the long view such things resulted in independence of those places that hold such grudges, like Ireland. That goes a long way to explain why most of Ukraine did not and does not want to be part of Russia.

And the US actively assisted in the industrialization of the Soviet Union in the 1920’s, during the time of the NEP. Henry Ford and Armand Hammer were two principal players. The mechanized Soviet army of the 1940’s owes a lot to the investments and technology transfer by Ford (and others) decades earlier.

“The Ukrainians”.

I go to Ukraine every year until covid.

There is a great diversity of opinion in Ukraine.

You have been lied to by the media into thinking they all are one people with one opinion.

Congrats on your brainwashing.

You think you know things you don’t.
You are very sure you know things that are not true.

You are a real idiot.

Because American academia early on became a hive of apologists for the Soviet Union. Much of this was engineered by the KGB, its methods are partly detailed by the KGB archivist Vasili Mitrokhin. Many of the anti-American tropes prevalent in American intellectual circles come from the Soviets steady efforts in the 1930s-70s, some of it by specially recruited “agents of influence”. And here we are now, two or three generations of leaders in all fields have been filtered through these tainted universities, still influenced by these zombie memes, intellectual weapons of war still serving their long dead masters.

Thanks for your post. I have never been to Ukraine but always wanted to go to there and Poland. I read a lot about WWII growing up. I am so tired of hearing that Russia totally bad, Ukraine totally good over the past two weeks. There is always more to the story.

I feel for those living in Ukraine, whatever side they are one. It appears they have a lot of corruption in their country by the elites. I am sure they have many citizens more qualified and deserving to be on the Ukrainian energy companies boards than Biden’s, Romney’s, Pelosi’s and Kerry’s sons.
