So, obxxx gonna move his new abode in Hawaii up into Manoa Valley then. Oh and better make the place in M's vineyard a stilt house like the 'camps' out towards the Rigolets bridge on Hwy 90 east of New Orleans. No?

There is someone who could make it rise higher and a lot faster. It may be getting to that time.

From MarketWatch today: “Climate change happening faster than globe can adapt, latest U.N. report warns”

It’s obviously too late, and we should just enjoy whatever little time we have left. It’s good to be free from this worry. Let’s all burn a tire in celebration.

So the WGS84 standard existed 100 years ago? Incredible hubris to push this. Perhaps not an unrealistic expectation that millenials will buy it.

that’s nice.

combiningsuper-fortune, to my fortunate life of 69 years, so far, imight just see the next 1/4 of an inch rise in tjd water.

We are still coming out of the last Ice Age, and sea level rise has been constant at about 2.87mm (about 1/10 inch) per year.

Obama is so afraid that he bought property on Martha’s Vineyard that he’s going to use for Scuba diving training.

Sea level changes all the time because Earth is a dynamic system. Again, for the idiots, sea level is constantly changing.

Do the globull warming folks think average people are really stupid?

Or do they think Caliph Baraq gets free flood insurance as part of his POTUS retirement?

Maybe some of that will evaporate, fall as rain and refill the Ogallala aquifer. Problems solved.

We just had a couple of weeks of extremely cold winter here. It would seem that the cold air here would act as a “Heat Sink” to remove excess heat from the atmosphere.

Think about that. We go from an almost no industrial, vehicle,
or technical impact on global warming to where we are today.

All that caused 1” of ocean rise, which is essentially up
for grabs on accuracy anyway.

Now at this level, we are supposed to believe we will crate
a much larger rise, even though through technology we have
actually seen the U. S. cut it’s emissions.

This global warming thing is just nonsense.

BS. I doubt they have “measurements “ of ocean levels (which change) from 100 years ago.

“The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer”

Here’s what I don’t get. About 87% of an iceberg is underwater. Water expands when it freezes. So, when icebergs and Arctic (sea floating) ice melts, it cannot increase sea levels.

Sure, yes, ice on land that melts and the water flows down to the sea can cause water levels to rise.

So, what I don’t get is why journalists, or perhaps jourNOlists, don’t know these basic principles or seem so ignorant of them.
