Former Attorney General William Barr writes in his new book that former President Donald Trump is to blame for the January 6 Capitol Hill riot as he calls for a new 2024 nominee.

“The election was not ‘stolen,’” he asserts in the book, titled One Damn Thing After Another. “Trump lost it.”

Barr also profiles a meeting he had in the Oval Office after he declared publicly that widespread evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election did not exist.
“’This is killing me—killing me. This is pulling the rug right out from under me,’” Barr claims Trump shouted at him.

Mr. Trump then launched into a list of other grievances he had with his attorney general: that the federal prosecutor Mr. Barr ordered to review the origins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Russia probe that preceded the Mueller report hadn’t released his findings before the 2020 election, and that Mr. Barr declined to prosecute former FBI Director James Comey after a department watchdog rebuked him for sharing memos that contained sensitive information about his interactions with Mr. Trump, a complaint brought up repeatedly by the president.
Barr claims he offered his resignation at that moment, which the president accepted. “Leave and don’t go back to your office. You are done right now. Go home!” Barr asserts Trump told him.
Barr eventually resigned from his position weeks later.
Regarding January 6, the former attorney general said that Trump lost himself after the election and pushed the voter fraud to such an intense degree that it led to the riot on Capitol Hill.
“The absurd lengths to which he took his ‘stolen election’ claim led to the rioting on Capitol Hill,” he writes.

So Barr didn’t follow a direct order to leave when Trump fired him???? Barr helped facilitate the fraud issue. What a liar.

People at the time said that Bill Barr would be excellent for this gig, that Trump couldn’t find anybody better (h/t Rush Limbaugh.) And when it was all over and Barr resigned, conservative talkers were saying Barr was an excellent Attorney General, a real class-act (h/t Mark Levin.) If the “real conservatives” said he was a great pick, then ya’ll can’t criticize Trump after the fact.

Dittoe with Sessions and Pence. I remember conservative talk radio at 6pm at the time saying on the Pence pick, “Wow! I never thought Trump would pick someone so conservative, Mr. Producer.” On Sessions they said it wasn an “outstanding” pick. But when things went bad with Sessions, they accused Trump of “attacking” Sessions. Then they finally agreed with Trump that Sessions must resign.
You are correct.
Barr is a CIA stooge. He’s a “Catholic”, like his buddy Joe Biden is a “Catholic”. Which is to say, a Pagan.
Lindsey also threatened impeachment if Trump replaced Sessions. Also Mitch denied recess appointments.

One day, Chico saw a pal playing cards with some well-known card sharks. He pulled the fellow aside and warned him that they were cheating him with signs.. the guy thanked Chico and quit while his losses were small.
A few days later, that guy saw Chico playing those SAME crooks and tried to warn Chico …
His reply was: “ I know.. I just wanted to see if I could beat them - signs or no signs..”
Something tells me Trump does the same thing with his picks. (Barr, Sessions, etc…)

You are right. We all got led down a primrose path by the deep state. That includes Trump.
I hadn’t realized how thoroughly corrupt, arrogant, debauched, and entirely unaccountable those who work for the government are.
This begs the obvious question of how Trump, or anyone, can really drain the Swamp. So many belong on the gallows, that DC would stink just like the days when it WAS a swamp.

Maybe next time (if there is one) Trump will not look to Democrats for advice on filling his cabinet. 🤔

Why wasn’t John Huber investigated for being a part of a ruse to portray an Investigation that wasn’t?
They misled the Country and tamped down calls for a Special Counsel with Lies.
They didn’t want to see the devices of anyone on Hillary’s team, even after they told the FBi that they contained Classified info.

Trump was an outsider who had no idea how deep the RINO deep state went. He trusted the wrong people and got burned.
Just like when he was in office. Barr could not stay in his lane then, and he shows his inability to confuse law enforcement with politics.
They know if Trump EVER gets back into office, they and their ilk are done.
Trump, plus a super majority of MAGA in Congress = the will of the people being imposed with exacting force!
