OK but why does the writer feel the need to qualify the very easy argument that Trump was a competent president by letting us all know she thinks he was a ‘jerk’?
Seems this kind of subjective, emotionally generated opinion is exactly why many voted against him and gave us Xiden.

I guess many of us would be jerks if we faced, daily, what he did. The wild Russian collusion, insane allegations, his children bombarded, attempt to disrupt his marriage, continual lawsuits (still ongoing), Charlottesville, media lies, State of the Union address, publicly and literally ripped to shreds and just too much more to remember.

ChoMoeJoe did not get enough votes to win. The election was “won” via FRAUD. I read most of the piece and note no mention of that. We’re just supposed to feel self-righteous: “Those B1den voters! They need to WISE UP! It’s all their fault!” and blah-de-blah-blah. (I have to wonder: What did the chick who wrote this think was going to happen? That a bunch of Democrats would be like, “OMG SHE’S RIGHT!!” and all run out and start apologizing?)
A lot of people who did actually vote for ChoMoeJoe are delightedly chanting “FJB!” right now and they will complain about him. And then they will vote Democrat again, if they bother to vote at all.

I did say “unless the author is talking about the National Guard.” For the author to state categorically that the US military has been used against US citizens without explaining that it is the National Guard brought in as a protection force is misleading. The National Guard is a state militia that can become a federalized militia. But except in times of war and national emergency, it is not, strictly speaking, a member of the US armed forces.
