President Joe Biden's approval rating hit a new low of 37 percent in a poll released Sunday that also showed 10 percent more American adults would prefer Republicans control Congress than Democrats.

More than half – 55 percent – of adults disapprove of Biden's job so far just days before the president is set to deliver his first State of the Union address. Seven percent say they have no opinion.

Of the 37 percent who approve, only 20 percent say they 'strongly approve' while of the 55 percent disapproval, 44 percent strongly disapprove, according to the new ABC News/Washington Post poll taken February 20-24.

When broken down by party, an overwhelming majority of Republicans at 86 percent disapprove of Biden's job performance and even 61 percent of independent voters rate the president negatively.

If Putin goes crazy and sets off a nuke Dems might get smashed in the next elections..assuming he didn’t set it off in the US.

I feel like we are back in the 50s.

Historically there is a massive slaughter coming at the demonic party but the party that stole the presidency is likely to have the same trick ready for one or the other or both houses. If not WHY not? What worked once can work again.

ROFLOL! Brandon’s handlers probably thought this war would give him a unifying boost like 41 got from DS1.

Trump bashed McConnell good yesterday.

That said, Republicans do have an uncanny knack for disappointing.

Lots of headlines on the Rats being in trouble for the Midterms, but the Lamestream media is totally ignoring the RINO purge that is to come in the primaries. Expect pearl clutching and headlines about the “crazies” taking over the GOP once it becomes apparent that the RINO purge is turning into a tidal wave.

37% with all the media and big tech supporting him. If the so called media did its job, he’d be at 20% approval.

This is beyond belief.

Are you saying that bringing the world to the brink of nuclear annihilation without any clue of what our national interest is in the conflict failed to yield a popularity rating of 99+%?
I'm shocked. SHOCKED!!

Wasn't that the theme song for an old sitcom with Bea Arthur?

Ten bucks says that some prosecutor (state or Federal) will find a way to indict Trump on 10 felony charges in early to mid October.

And then all bets are off.

Don’t worry. They will step up. The Republicans can always be depended on to rescue and save the Democrats.

I haven’t seen a Biden bumper sticker since two days after the election, LOL.
**********************
Love it. I bet they scraped half the chrome off the bumper trying to get them off fast enough. There’s a house down the street from me that ever since the election had their glory flying sticking it in our faces. There was a Black Lives Matter flag, a gay pride rainbow flag, and a Biden/Harris flag.I was wondering how long they were going to stick it out, but I noticed yesterday, the Biden/Harris flag was gone.

It seems to me that he will do like Lyndon B. Johnson did in 1968 because of Vietnam and not seek re-election saying he needs to focus all his energies on the crisis he has in two years. It is an excellent way to save face when prospects for re-election aren’t good.

Republicans can have a 100% lead but unless were replace them with patriots, nothing will change

This.

American elections are a distraction from the main action.
