It seems to me that he will do like Lyndon B. Johnson did in 1968 because of Vietnam and not seek re-election saying he needs to focus all his energies on the crisis he has in two years. It is an excellent way to save face when prospects for re-election aren’t good.
Interesting and quite probable, if he doesn’t get hauled off to the funny farm even sooner. And this leaves who??????
