You're right, but our provocation goes back to the 2014 Kiev coup that was instigated by the Obama Administration and installed the current anti-Russian regime. Facing the threat of a hostile military alliance only 300 miles from Moscow, Putin is asserting the Monroeski Doctrine.

It was a fair question; I looked it up and apparently they only use characters from both alphabets (Cyrillic and Latin).
I’m suspicious of Putin and Russia; they are almost as corrupt as Ukraine.
I’m also much more concerned about our country, our government, and our border; this is a local dispute which will be handled locally. In a historical context, I’m more concerned about Taiwan’s survival than that of Ukraine.
Get back to me when the current invasion of the United States is the topic.

I think the end game here is to install a pro-Russian government in Kiev, annex the border “republics” Donetsk and Lugansk, beef up the military presence in Crimea, then use the new puppet government to leak anti-globalist information (or propaganda) with as much credibility as possible (perhaps not that much), and make the globalists in NATO capitals squirm with fear in case these documents include really damaging information (such as proof of sexual misconduct on a large scale, collusion with China on COVID, climate change scams, stuff that most of us already believe or think is probably true).
This is why Democrats feared Trump, they thought (mistakenly) that he would collaborate with Putin and grease the skids during his term for the Russians to complete what they started in 2014. Trump proved to be either resistant to Putin or unconcerned by him, and nothing like this was ever going to happen until SloJoe came to town and demonstrated that his only military skill was retreat.
Now the globalists are going to get payback from Putin for all the insults and ostracism they have hurled at him. He genuinely thinks the anti-Russian sentiment in Kiev since 2014 is some sort of revival of wartime Ukrainian Nazi collaboration against Moscow. In part he may be right about that, although there’s a lack of nuance perhaps.
Well, we will have to see what President Obama wants to do about this, through his hand puppet. We should all be concerned. The globalists have said repeatedly they want a new world order with a lot fewer people, and I don’t think we’re on their list of who is wanted or needed in that post-apocalyptic new dawn. In fact, the entire country of Russia could probably go tomorrow for all they care about it, as well as 90% of us.

Its not a border dispute, its an invasion by Putin, which will encourage China to act in Taiwan.
I hope Taiwan is OK, as a democracy and our former allies in WWII.
As a Catholic I hope Ukraine is OK; I don’t believe the impacted areas are “Catholic” (which is part of the issue here). I care nothing for the Ukraine’s government, or my own for that matter; no reason to trust either of them.
And I feel fine.
