Americans have shown their complete disinterest in Ukraine, and the Afghanistan debacle/retreat last year should have convinced any American that lives lost in Ukraine (or anywhere else) would be wasted for nothing.

I’m waiting for news footage of anything happening there; the cable networks are all on the same page, with their “reporters” wearing plastic paintball helmets posing in front of various Ukraine backgrounds - but there are no explosions, antiaircraft fire, etc. in the background (as we saw in the Gulf War).
We’ll see what happens; Putin’s gripe is as legitimate as ours with the Cuban Missile Crisis (and we compromised - no
Soviet missiles in Cuba, and none of ours in Turkey). As part of relinquishing control of the various Soviet republics, none were to join NATO (we agreed to that).

I am sad that I was wrong predicting Putin would not invade. I wish I was correct but seems I was wrong. And having a bumbling child sniffing nasty old pervert in charge of “the free world” breaks my heart. Pray.
