No, Nope, No: It Is Not Time for a Civil War: Everyone out there asking whether it's time to "use the guns" against the government needs a hard and fast answer in the negative
American Thinker ^ | 02/23/2022 | Jeremy Egerer

Charlie Kirk was asked recently, at one of his lectures, whether now is a good time to "use the guns."  He answered that it isn't, and I agree with him but only partially for the reasons he stated.

Simply put, the idea that right-wingers could start a revolution and win one, at this point in history, is comedy — and no, I don't care if that's the sole reason we have a Second Amendment and we have more AR-15s.  First off, we don't own any of the institutions — including any branches of the military, which, although staffed with lots of great and respectable men, are currently run by woman-drafters, white-shamers, and tranny-loving butt-kissers

I would add to this that social and big media are owned almost entirely by the left wing, which means we have no platform to mass-communicate.  Do we run the CIA, or the FBI, or any national organization built to maintain law and order in a crisis?  No — all of it is in possession of the left wing, which gives leftists a clear advantage in organization and persecution.

More importantly, I would posit that these United States are so completely interdependent that any kind of real split, even without bloodshed, would result in mass starvation and eventually death.  This isn't the 1860s, when clothes could be homespun and farms were all family-owned.  There isn't a single business in these states that maintains its existence within a single state: everyone is dependent on other businesses in other states, and many times in other countries, to supply what he needs to function on even a basic level.

IMO he is simply stating precisely why it IS time to take action. We are living under a new form of tyranny. One we don’t get to vote for and can destroy us as individuals. A new tyranny with new tools that is global and acts in real-time. We have never seen this before.

I have no fear of a large military force invading the USA but we don’t seem to learn our lessons when it comes to small tactical battles as seen in our engagements in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. We can’t maintain the political discipline to ‘win’. It has nothing to do with armies. Time and time again, just as in our Revolutionary War, ‘weaker forces’ with small arms can deliver an unstoppable force that politicians tire of and lose the will to continue. I’d argue this is especially true of the USA considering we can have a new POTUS every four years, carrying the risk of giving up everything and walking away.

Something has to give. Seeing bank accounts getting frozen, with leftist approval, would imply a breaking point is very close. All of these companies and institutions he refers to are actually extremely vulnerable should there be a civil war, they’d crumble in days. Our patience is the only thing keeping them alive.

“War makes no sense if Democrats are about to be slaughtered in the next election.”

I’m hoping that’s the cure. I think there are a lot of silent people that know the current power structure ain’t getting it done.

RE: 30 millions individuals versus less than 2 million government,

Yes, governments with bombs, planes, missiles and an assorted line of sophisticated weaponry that these 30 million paid for.

The only chance is for the military to turn against the ruling government in a coup d’ etat.

I agree, until we have exhausted all peaceful options. Ben Franklin stated it best-—comparing preserving freedom to that of a Rattlesnake.

“She may therefore be esteemed an emblem of vigilance. She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. As if anxious to prevent all pretensions of quarreling with her, the weapons with which nature has furnished her, she conceals in the roof of her mouth, so that, to those who are unacquainted with her, she appears to be a most defenseless animal; and even when those weapons are shown and extended for her defense, they appear weak and contemptible; but their wounds however small, are decisive and fatal. “

“War makes no sense if Democrats are about to be slaughtered in the next election.”

Two items - first, it should be taken for granted as a given by conservatives the Dems will lose bigtime (i.e. “I dont need to vote, it’s a done deal”). Or, the flip side, “we can’t win, so everybody - don’t vote, stay home” (i.e. the Dem’s Syndney-Woods Georgia ruse handed the Dems the Senate). Some are still pitching that Dem sucker-play - even in this thread.

Second, taking the House or Senate is only half the equation - keeping the Rep office holder’s feet to the fire to actually do something is the key. The pressure must be non-stop and as Billy Boy use to say “focused like laser beam” on getting specific results.

A violent armed civil war is not going to happen.

Instead, the USA is going to collapse onto itself. When you consider the USA population of 330 million people and 230 million of them are on welfare or social security, it will soon go bankrupt and cease to exist.

This is why I say that those millions of illegals flooding the USA are coming here just to die of starvation, along with another 100 million Americans going to the grave.

The globalist like Bill Gates and Fauci will be very pleased to see the US population cut in half.

If a person has the guts to pick up a gun, he should also have the guts to pull the purse strings, which is far more frightening to the scoundrels he has been sponsoring.

Yes. My state is mostly red, but the blue cities often rule the roost. It’s tough, but it is what it is.

And, folks, we can’t have this conversation as if ours is the only country on the planet. Think of how the Chinamen who read this thread will salivate.

War makes no sense if Democrats are about to be slaughtered in the next election.

But with a War you can make opposition illegal, like Woody Wilson did during WWI.

The We The People America is lost already, we just fail to realize it due to normalcy bias and other demonically fueled factors. The largest clue is how elections are now determined; they are managed off-shore and the globalist oligarchy determines the outcome wherever they choose to set it. We The People no longer handle our own votes, so the dead soul liars and cheats do their masters’ bidding ... like in Georgia and Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and Michigan, and ... and well, every state that can be a tipping point. When did the end begin? 1973 ... the moral compass was discarded, for convenience.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! - Patrick Henry

Ask Vicky Weaver if "peaceful protests" will work - this time.

Ask a Branch Davidian.

Ask Ashely Babbit.

Ask any of the Jan 6th "peaceful" protestors who are STILL in jail on bullsh*t political charges.

How much more "peace" before we realize that the government will only respond in any meaningful way to FORCE.

Like Putin driving tanks into SE Ukraine. THAT is force that is getting sh*t done.

Amon Bundy's stand-off against the BLM was only successful because of the hundreds of ARMED people who showed up to support him.

So no, if anything... PEACEFUL means of redress are dead. If it were still viable, we'd not be where we are having this exact conversation.

“The revolution begins at home!”

Isn’t that something leftists used to say?”

If we’re to stop this oligarchic totalitarian juggernaut we have to adopt the tactics they used. Fortunately those tactics are simple to understand:

1. Work at your level: do not think you can influence anyone above your station or outside your geographic range. There will be no martyrs or heroes. Visionaries need not apply.
2. Argument is all but useless—what really works is guile, intimidation, blackmail and money.

We’re the the base of a huge pyramid, and the only way to topple a pyramid is to pry away, block by block, its foundation. It might get unpleasant.

The Left is planning to take power in a “Krasny Okatbyr” scenario.

Libertarianism and social democracy are powerless to defeat this.

War makes no sense if Democrats are about to be slaughtered in the next election.

But are they? They were allowed to get away with cheating in the past, why shouldn't they cheat even more next time?

In any event, I don't want to hear about resorting to the cartridge box when the cash box is still open to govt paws.

Today that reaction might involve the feds destroying whole towns and villages with massive weaponry that Lincoln and his generals could only have dreamed about back then. Secession is off the table, sorry to say.

Winning the Revolutionary War by a bunch of Patriots against the Preeminent and most powerful Country in the world seemed impossible as well, and yet, they fought anyway.

I think the only human alive in the USA in 1860 that would actually fight a war to keep states in IN the union was Lincoln.

The movie “Copperhead” on Amazon is a very good and thoughtful movie about Americans in upstate NY during the Civil War who opposed the war. There are some very excellent conversations about the constitutionality of the war. I highly recommend.

Thinking logically, each state’s governor becomes the head of state in the event that the federal government falls. 50 separate nations would be the result, with infrastructure inside each state to mostly sustain that state’s needs. There are of course things that only the federal government does at this juncture. State’s governments are designed this way on purpose. You don’t have a state board of elections that handles all the states elections. You don’t have a state department of transportation that handles other states transportation needs. Its pretty much like the other person stated. Even the military is somewhat accounted for with state national guards.
