senile Joe’s handlers strategy is to blame everything (poor economy, high gas prices) on this manufactured war with Russia

politics at its worst.

Sounds like Joe is planning to dip into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve again.

No, let him talk. When your enemy is self destructing get out of his way, make popcorn and find a comfy chair

35 more months…

... until the next stolen presidential election. I figure 2022 will have several stolen Congressional seats, too.

We need to limit the impact of Biden on US gas prices.

And here is why Mitch Mconnel and the republicans suck. Based on Biden’s statement, they should immediately call his BS bluff. Prepare a bill and have a vote on reversing Biden’s pipeline cancellation executive orders, reversing all of his limitations on fracking, on drilling on federal lands, and everything else that he undid that President Trump implemented. Call his BS and lay it out for the American people. But no. Crickets from the Republican Party. What a joke.

““As I said last week, defending freedom will have costs for us as well and here at home.”

We MIGHT get by with a 30%-40% retail bump.

All energy in Europe will DOUBLE, AT LEAST.

It won’t take Europe long to ask why Russia so sorely delayed their re acquisition of the rebel province of Ukraine.

And with a 40% retail bump here, political slaughter awaits.

Annexing versus invading Mexico (and its natural resources).

I’ve heard arguments both pro and con.

The problem is that it takes time and money (and government cooperation) to spin up additional domestic oil production. The oil companies won’t do this unless they project high oil prices to continue for a long while - long enough to justify the cost. Like a war that shuts off oil from other sources.

I don’t know of anyone who believes this. Gas prices are almost double what the were just a year ago.

only the “climate” mob could be cheering on war with Russia:

22 Feb: New Statesman UK: How Europe is dependent on Russian gas
Russia accounts for 65 per cent of Germany’s natural gas imports and almost 40 per cent of the EU’s.
By Aisha Majid
Almost 40 per cent of EU natural gas imports in 2020 came from Russia, with some countries reliant on it for close to all of their natural gas needs. Some major European economies, among them Germany and Italy, are heavily dependent, with Russian supplies accounting, respectively, for 65 per cent and 43 per cent of imports last year...
