President Joe Biden has agreed “in principle” to a meeting with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin as long as that country holds off on what U.S. officials believe is an imminent assault on Ukraine. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the administration has been clear that “we are committed to pursuing diplomacy until the moment an invasion begins.” U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are set to meet on Thursday in Europe as long as a further invasion doesn’t occur.

There is Video out there (authentic and old) of Biden saying that the only way we can lose in Afghanistan is if we leave. If we’re aren’t committed in the long run. And he says how critical that long term commitment is to the World.

The same reasons to fund Ukraine are the same reasons to continue in Afghanistan, and he decided against it, and left all the Weapons systems.

This is so wag the dog! This is all one-sided on Biden’s part, trying to make it look like he’s some kind of great negotiator, which is a tremendous joke, though a very unfunny one.
Biden wants a local war between Russian Seperatists on the Eastern Ukraine border area. A Local war like South Vietnam . This will save his presidency they think. And then he can feed our soldiers into the meat grinder a little at a time, while playing poker with Putin.The miitary industrial complex would support the Dems with big bucks.
Biden can’t play poker, because if Putin enters Ukraine, nothing will stop the Russians from pushing through Ukraine to the Baltic.But Putin now has Belarus. Nato can’t stop the Russians and neither can Biden. Biden wants a little meat grinder war like Johnson did in Vietnam but what Biden might get is a nearly complete reconstitution of the USSR with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania back in the Russian fold.
Putin already has taken Belarus, something few are mentioning.Putin’s joint military exercises with the Belarus Army have segued into a Russian passive occupation. The Russians are NOT leaving Belarus.Ukraine is just a side show for Putin, and Biden and NATO think Putin will stop with Ukraine? In my estimation the real goal Putin has is to have Russian ports on the Baltic.And soon you likely will see a Russian force supported by the Belarus military massing on the Belarus Western border with Latvia,Lithuania and Estonia.
Biden really thinks he is playing poker over Eastern Ukrian.Why would Biden want Ukraine? It has little or no strategic value and would be very high maintenance in terms of occupation but the Baltic states would be much easier to take and occupy with the Russian Navy entering the Baltic to consolidate such a move.The Scandinavians would sit back and watch and the Germans would do the same.Poland might get twitchy enough to join the fray, but they cannot hold back the Russians from the Baltic States other than to defend the borders of Poland.
Putin will make a huge fool out of Biden.He is already playing NATO like a fiddle and he has Macron singing and squeeling like a Parisian Call girl who has been jilted of her fee.
NATO wants the LNG from Russia to keep flowing in the middle of winter. Joe has no energy reserves to help ever since he undid every thing Rick Perry had accomplished for President Trump. So in fact Biden has nothing in his poler hand, nothing to offer Europe except feeding young Americans into a thankless NATO meat grinder.Putin has NATO by the short hairs.
If I was living in Tallin, I would be packing my bags and getting ready to bolt, just in case. Belarus is the location to watch.Eastern Ukraine is a diversion IMHO.Putin might go South to take Kiev but not the whole country ; his real goal is in the Baltics IMHO.
Biden already has the Medal Freedom. A Nobel Prize would just put more money in his pocket and another trinket in the keys-n-change bowl.

There is no reason for Putin to hold meetings with Biden...this is a European issue governed by the Minsk-2 agreements, and there is a format already established for resolving the conflict with Germany, France, Russia, and Ukraine as principals.
The Americans only seek to obstruct implementation of Minsk-2 and while the puppet government of Ukraine may be beholden to the US, Russia certainly isn’t.
Time for Russia to tell Diaper Joe to buzz off, and for the French and Germans to tell Zelinsky that the way forward for Ukraine/Europe does NOT run through the Untied States.
