MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Police are searching for suspects who reportedly shot a Corvette driver after he refused to race.
Police said the incident happened early Sunday around 5 a.m. on Raleigh Lagrange Road.
Prior to the shooting, the suspect and the victims got into an argument about racing among other topics, according to a police report.
At some point, the driver of the Mustang blocked the Corvette in a parking lot.
The Corvette’s driver managed to get away and that’s when he was shot.
Incidents like these are a cause for concern for community members. These type incidents are not uncommon in the city of Memphis.

Memphis Police were nearby at the time of the shooting and attempted to pull over the Mustang, but it got away.
There were two people inside the car and investigators believe an automatic weapon was used based on evidence recovered at the scene.
The victim who is expected to be okay.

When I briefly lived there, the nasty people percentage wasn’t racially linked. Pretty big percentage of everyone I knew regardless of race was thuggish.
The police are the ones asserting it, though. Saw that in other coverage.
Did a schooling at NAS Memphis, this was back in the late 80’s, never went off base much except for the “mandatory” USMC tattoo. Never went off base after that.

You know that judges are not going to do that. They are part of the “system” which is designed to make the Citizens unable to defend themselves from the criminal. It is the criminal that gets the sympathy from the media and public. Not the victim. No one cares about the victim. If you don’t believe it, look no further than States that do still execute murderers. When they do execute a murderer, a crowd is always there to protest the execution of the murderer. Every iota of their sympathy is for the killer. not the victim.
I was born in Memphis, at Methodist Hospital. Both sets of grandparents lived in Memphis all through my youth.
Is a youth, I spent many wonderful summers with grandparents, who lived a block from each other.
Now Memphis is a hell hole. About 3 years ago, I drove through parts with which I had been familiar. I was absolutely shocked and saddened with what I saw. Words could not describe...
All of my relatives have since fled for other areas.
