Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Monday that she thinks former Vice President Mike Pence "did what he thought was right" on Jan. 6 when he certified the results of the 2020 election.
"Mike Pence is a good man. He's an honest man. I think he did what he thought was right on that day," Haley told Fox News's Bret Baier on Monday.
"I will always say I’m not a fan of Republicans going after Republicans because the only ones that win when that happens are the Democrats and the media, and we have to keep our eyes on 2022," she added.
Haley's remarks came after Pence said last week that the idea of overturning the election results was "un-American."
"President Trump is wrong. I had no right to overturn the election," Pence said at a Federalist Society event in Florida. "The presidency belongs to the American people and the American people alone. Frankly, there is almost no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person could choose the American president."

You specifically said that he caved on marriage between one man and one woman. I don’t see that anywhere in the link that you presented.
The fly on his head during the VP debate knew where the good stuff was I guess.
Imbeciles AKA Never Trumpers, that think his job was to rubber stamp election results are just that, imbeciles.
Oh and don't worry about the laughing hyena, she'll do what ever she wants anyway...what will you do about it?
So did Robert E. Lee and the Confederates.
Freedom or Discrimination: Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act
4th paragraph:
So if so many other states have passed these laws, why is Indiana becoming such a big point of controversy? For one, the others states passed their RFRAs a long time ago, whereas Governor Mike Pence only decided to enact theirs in the aftermath of DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) being repealed and other such landmark events in the gay rights movement. The other issue is the language of the law. The other RFRAs refer mainly to non-profit entities, whereas Indiana’s refers specifically to for-profit organizations as well. Whether this is all a calculated movement or just bad timing on Governor Pence’s part remains to be seen.
With a passion!
These people think they are so smart and so politically savvy.
There really is no reason for her to come out and say what she did, unless she thinks downstream it will ingratiate herself with the GOP of the future. She and Pence and Romney and the rest of these pukes think the party is them.
Fact is, once again, Nikki has crapped in her own nest.
Had she simply said, “Pence did have the constitutional authority to ask for a recount or recertification of the delegates in those questionable states”, she would have won the hearts of a good many of us, most likely the vast majority of Republicans and Trump independents and Trump democrats.
The sooner this party is rid of people like her the better.
When life gives you rinos you make lemonade.
I can respect Pence’s right to make the wrong decision. He probably did mean well, and he was Trump’s right-hand man until that decision. But I’m voting Trump, not Pence or anyone else. I suggest Pence read up on the Federalist Papers, de Tocqueville, the secret Constitutional Convention minutes, and whatever other sources are available. And then go back to being governor of his state. He was a good governor.
Pence had the authority to send the electoral votes back to the states for an emergency audit but Pence REFUSED to do it.
No mention that Pence had the constitutional authority to do this. Now he’s saying Trump asked him to “overturn” the election.
So I get it. An awful lot of FReepers are really pissed that Pence somehow failed to save Trump's election.
MY question is: Why hasn't some other white knight appeared in the last year to get the job done?
If this thing that Mike failed to do is so easily seen and accomplished - where is it??
And FR was among one of the last ones on.
I can still remember how I (and others) were treated here because we REFUSED to vote for Romney on religious grounds.
Well; did Trump actually use the word OVERTURN or not?
She and Pence both qualify, but Nimrata is frequently less careful in concealing it. Neither one of them should really be entrusted with our lives or freedoms. Are they better than their Democrat/Communist analogues? Generally speaking, yes... but in too many situations, only by degrees.
At their BEST, both have consistently failed to rise above the level of Summer conservative and sunshine patriot... but Pence totally and spectacularly failed in the one truly critical task thrust on him. These attempts to whitewash his perfidy are beneath contempt.
She’s Deep State.
That’s not a shocker.
I want to read 'an official statement' by Trump where he used the word 'overturn'.
Me too. Calling for a review of election results is not the same thing.
About half way through.
