Over the weekend, a speaker at a Black Lives Matter protest in Minneapolis encouraged the crowd to burn down police stations and continue looting and rioting they way the city experienced during the 2020 BLM riots.
The protest came after 22-year-old Amir Locke was killed by Minneapolis police during a no-knock raid while serving a search warrant last week. Body camera footage showed police unlocking the door to the apartment and then shouting "Police!" as they entered. Locke was asleep on the couch and wrapped in a blanket. Within nine seconds, police shot Locke after seeing he was armed with a handgun. Locke was not named in the warrant, according to Fox News.
The protest, which was attended by about 1,000 people, was peaceful. But, some wanted to take things further.
"Feel your anger fully. Be mad! BE MAD! Because your anger is justified. Build barricades, burn precincts, reappropriate what they've stolen from you for thousands of generations!" one speaker said on Saturday.

Yeah, if someone crashes into my house in the middle of the night it’s highly likely I will have a firearm in my hands pretty quickly. But, being awakened like that, probably not in my best mind set. Burglars would stand less of a chance than trained popo pumped up on adrenaline.
So when will Twitter, Facebook and Go Fund Me announce their blocking all activities. When will credit card companies announce no longer processing charges by BLM Members…. Well, we’re waiting…..

It’s definitely a DNC Black Thing, most hard working people wouldn’t understand. Misery loves company. They should be herded into FEMA camps for re-education.
I agree, rktman, no-knock raids are an invitation to tragedy - either a cop gets shot by a resident who thinks they are criminals breaking in or a resident gets shot because he is too slow recognizing the break-in is a cop and not a criminal. I see very few situations where such raids are the only option. Usually you can just watch and wait, and grab in the open - it’s not like they’re destroying evidence while they are asleep and unsuspecting.

Exactly! This issue has been pre-empted by activist black groups for their own nefarious purposes, but this is also happening to everyone else, and *Americans* should be united against law enforcement overreach like these no-knock warrants, civil forfeiture, and badly-behaving police.
First, if everyone were involved, we probably wouldn’t be having these stupid and destructive riots, nor stupid ideas such as defunding the police.
Second, the police are necessary, we should be reigning them in and helping them improve.
Third, we need to unite as Americans and not let the PTB divide us all tge time.
