“Although you won’t be here anymore, I want you to live through me. This system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA. I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now,” Dominique Luzuriaga told mourners at St. Patrick’s Cathedral as they gave her a standing ovation...
When asked about Luzuriaga’s remarks aimed at him, Bragg responded in a statement that “violence against police officers will never be tolerated.”
“I am grieving and praying for Detective Rivera and Officer Mora today and every day, and my thoughts are with their families and the NYPD,” Bragg said.
“My office will vigorously prosecute cases of violence against police and work to prevent senseless acts like this from ever happening again.”

The New Yorkers vote in radicals.
Then complain that they are radicals................
Hope gov hochsul got a dishonorable mention as well. And the new useless ‘mare’ too. Meet the new boss. Worse than the old boss?
The Soros DAs are soulless lackeys who are cheering inside whenever a cop gets shot. Cumulatively, they are responsible for thousands of deaths of cops, innocent bystanders, victims and the perps themselves.
Reminiscent of the Joe Pesce line in the movie Casino. “This is the last time street guys like us would ever be given anything this big to run.” Adams and Bragg ought to reflect on that line and realize what ultimately happened to the casino, the Pesce and the DiNiro characters.
Yup. But keep voting Democrat you dumbass New Yorkers.
Not exactly. They move out of New York and keep voting democrat.
Did the well-fed Bragg interrupt his snack long enough to get briefed on this?
God is NOT dead.

Don’t blame all New Yorkers; blame NYC New Yorkers. Except for a few enemy strongholds, most of upstate NY is red.
In this case we are speaking explicitly of NYC so no offense was intended to the good people of Upstate New York.
Just as in Illinois, don’t blame the rest of the state for Chicago.
Before I retired, I worked in downtown Chicago. I retired more than five years ago. I have not set foot in Chicago — or in Cook County, for that matter — since the day I retired. And I doubt I ever will.
