A 24-year-old woman was stabbed to death Thursday afternoon while working at a Hancock Park furniture store by a man who is still on the loose.
Brianna Kupfer of Pacific Palisades was working alone at the Croft House furniture store in the 300 block of La Brea Avenue, near Beverly Boulevard, when a man entered the store, attacked her and stabbed her to death with a knife, Los Angeles police said. The man was last seen exiting the store through the back and heading northbound in the alley, according to video surveillance footage.

This kind of crime is very very bad.
We don’t know the motivation. Not sure what was going on, but
it seems as if a walk-on from the street with nothing else
playing a part.
She may have known the guy. Who knows. The police don’t
think so. They may have good reason.
I guess we can expect him to die in prison in 30 years or so.

Some more info. I moved years ago, but that area is really rich. A gem in a sh,t hole. Korea Town is to the East and nice legals. Article says she was from a very wealthy area by the beach, south of LA. Wonder where this story goes....
“La Brea Avenue, near Beverly Boulevard.” Swanky, high priced area. Couple of movie theaters. LA has an unethical DA who frustrates police.
