You don’t just walk in and put up transmission lines.
The utility worked for tried for decades to put in a new transmission line that was only going to be 50 miles long.
The NIMBY fight went on for years through courts and regulators.
Finally, the company gave up.
If you can’t get the power to where it can be used your fields of wind weeds are useless.

If I did the conversion right, that's 30 1000mw Nuclear Powerplants. That's 1 1000mw units / 30 states, or if you build 2 on a given site, that's 15 states w/ 2. That's way more Jobs and no Sea-Shore-eye sore and I don't care how far off shore they put them...

Burning wood is solar and wind power. The trees grew thanks to the sun and the wind that brought the rains. So when you chop a tree down or pick up the wind-fallen branches, you are using renewable energy. OK? So take your wind farms and stick ‘em where the birds won’t get chopped to bits.
