South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent GOP Leader Mitch McConnell a very clear message Wednesday night: Get on board with Donald Trump or get out.
Asked by Fox's Sean Hannity about the "swampiness" of the Kentucky senator, Graham answered this way:
"Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with Donald Trump. Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It's his nomination if he wants it. ... Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? ...
"I am not going to vote for anybody for leader of the Senate as a Republican unless they can prove to me that they can advocate an 'America First' agenda and have a working relationship with Donald Trump because if you can't do that you will fail."

Kabuki. Graham says his support is contingent on Mitch proving to him has a good relationship with Trump. Then he's quiet for a time while behind the scenes Mitch continues working with the dems to make Trump radioactive by any means necessary, up to and including prosecution for fake crimes. Finally after a month or so when he's asked about it Graham announces that Mitch and he met and Mitch was able to prove undying love and affection for Trump so Graham will support him fully.
In short, Mitch walks in and everyone knows he's dirty (regarding his hatred of Trump), Lindsay pretends to be a tough guy and then declares Mitch cured. Move along.

"Lindsey Graham is a consummate politician, which means he will say whatever he thinks potential voters and backers want to hear. "
In the end, he and McConnell voted to put a potato in The White House, and sanctioned unlimited voter fraud. That alone should keep people from ever casting a ballot for either one of them again. Backstabbing, gutless wonders.

“He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan.”
What will be the consequences??
It appears that Mitch has very weak capillaries. Heavy bruising. Next a brain bleed?

I liked the way McConnell rebutted Biden yesterday on the Senate floor. He was careful not to mention Trump by name.

Good for Graham! McConnell actually went on a rant and attacked the Dems both for their attempts to change the filibuster and other legislative rules and for the Dems’ “only Dems get to win” so-called voting bill.
I think he’s feeling the heat - about time.

Mitch acts like he's got a chronic brain bleed, but then you'd have to have a brain for that to happen.

She managed to get two Cabinet posts...one under Bush, and one under Trump. so I'd say both he, and she have done quite well, not to mention her family's business.

Mitch is laughing at Linseed. He knows the guy is a three knot windsockThis is something Mitch would say referring to himself in third person.
Look, Graham is indeed a small sock.
But let's not give Mitch the air of invincibility.

Thank you for adding to my general knowledge. I looked up “Three Knot Wind Sock” !

Mitch has never been on board the Trump train, yet he’s been elected leader time after time. So this looks to me Lindsey is making a political move for himself, not a Mitch prediction.

🎯 As usual, H.
Anyone basking in relief to see opportunistic Graham’s lips moving reminds me of a kid getting into the van to see the nice man’s puppy.
