South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent GOP Leader Mitch McConnell a very clear message Wednesday night: Get on board with Donald Trump or get out.
Asked by Fox's Sean Hannity about the "swampiness" of the Kentucky senator, Graham answered this way:
"Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with Donald Trump. Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It's his nomination if he wants it. ... Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? ...
"I am not going to vote for anybody for leader of the Senate as a Republican unless they can prove to me that they can advocate an 'America First' agenda and have a working relationship with Donald Trump because if you can't do that you will fail."

It’s play acting.
Flimsey is quite accomplished at it.
Look how many thought there was a new Flimsey 2.0 after his Kavanaugh performance.
More McConnell lunacy - GOP elders need to tell McConnell it's time for him to step aside http://t.co/Ir0stdSm05โ Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) November 25, 2013
Lindsey’s spinal transplant seems to be working out well.
Lindsey Graham is a consummate politician, which means he will say whatever he thinks potential voters and backers want to hear. I’ve heard a lot of good things coming from him. I haven’t seen a lot of good things coming from him, but he can certainly talk the talk. Walking the walk is another story.
Mitch is the Republican argument for term limitations. He’s not very popular here in Kentucky, but it seems neither party can produce a candidate who would make a better senator, so we hold our noses and vote for McConnell every six years.
All theater.
Lindsays flaws well known to us
That is quite a statement and public message to someone heโs known and worked with for decades
Graham has his finger in the wind no question
Kabuki Theater, nothing more.
Linda continues to be pi-polar.
Lets just hope Graham means it this time. He’s flirted with being a movement conservative a couple of times but I don’t think the winds were blowing hard enough in the right direction for Graham to take the leap, hopefully the gale force winds now blowing in the correct direction will convince him to be a stalwart and actually live and govern by MAGA, America First principles.
Of course the instant the winds reverse course Graham will likely jump ship. But considering he’s not primariable because the people of SC will elect him over and over we have to find a way to work with him. Just sayin, it is what it is and thats the situation we are faced with.
Graham is flimsey, for sure. His views are as firm as Jell-O and he shifts like crazy but could Graham be setting the stage for McConnell’s removal? McConnell has little to no credibility left on anything.
Mitch is laughing at Linseed. He knows the guy is a three knot windsock
Lindsey would probably like to be Senate Majority Leader if Republicans ever win the Senate again. Both he and Mitch need to go, but there's too many stupid voters who will continue to vote for the same thing.
Two fems squabbling over a real man? Do tell.
A lot of the voting base is very frustrated with the Turtle.
Mitch has become a liability and that makes him expendable.
The elders may well be sending him a message and he’s not listening.
Oh look! A scammer calling a scammer on a scam!
Graham is a squish. It’s impossible to know if what he says he will do is actually what he will do. Remember when he was head of the Senate Judiciary Committee? He’s just another of those slimey swamp creatures.
