Americans Will Have to Wait a Little Longer for the Supreme Court's Ruling on Vaccine Mandates

The Supreme Court did not issue a ruling on the constitutionality of President Joe Biden's vaccine mandates for private companies and medical workers Thursday. While it wasn't a guarantee the Justices would issue a ruling today, it was likely given the pressing nature of Biden's mandates impacting the futures of more than 100 million Americans.

During oral arguments about the cases, which took place last week, conservative Justices seemed skeptical of Biden's mandates. A number of lower courts previously ruled the mandates were unconstitutional given Congress never approved them.

"During several hours of oral arguments, the court’s conservative majority posed sharp questions about whether a federal workplace law that Congress passed some five decades ago provides the legal authority for a vaccine-or-test policy affecting roughly 84 million workers at large employers," the Hill reported. "The conservative justices also appeared wary, though slightly less so, of a separate coronavirus vaccine mandate that applies to the roughly 17 million health care workers at hospitals and other facilities that receive federal funding through the Medicare and Medicaid programs."

Liberal Justices argued heavily in favor of the mandates and falsely stated current Wuhan coronavirus vaccines prevent transmission of the disease. According to data and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, that is not true.

Actually, it is their responsibility to protect Americans from their political choices. It is the court’s responsibility to make rulings based on the legal precedents and the constitution. They must protect our individual rights from the mob. All is eventually lost without this protection.

Politicians can always go the rout of passing an amendment. It’s intentionally difficult, but that is the way our forefathers intended.

Probably. Right now our economic situation is suffering because of these damn mandates. They need to rule on this ASAP!

Roberts’ SC may not want to hand down a ruling against mandates in the middle of a pandemic wave. Roberts has political instincts despite what he says.

I sort of doubt that is what is going on here but it is certainly possible. Possibly a good sign ... at least for one scenario I can imagine.

So now public health legislation from congress, whose job it is to make such laws will instead defer everything to the executive branch. A Supreme Court mired in fear will have to be our representatives. Stupid and unnecessary.

Switch the court to a fee for services agency. For every bad piece of legislation or ruling brought before the court docks a million from congressional salaries. That crap would come to a halt.

Meanwhile our current vaccines are Limited/basically worthless as per the Pfizer CEO!

Pfizer CEO: Our Vaccines Offer ‘Limited, If Any Protection’

Speaking during remarks to a J.P. Morgan healthcare conference this week, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla openly stated current vaccines the company developed for Wuhan coronavirus offer “limited, if any” protection against contracting current variants of the disease. He then encouraged booster shots.

The statement from Bourla comes as the Biden administration continues to justify vaccine mandates for federal workers, contractors and private businesses. The Supreme Court heard arguments about President Biden’s mandates for private companies and medical workers last week. A ruling is expected soon on the constitutionality of the mandates.

A number of people who have pointed out the waning efficacy of Pfizer’s vaccines, which Bourla touted last year as being “100 percent” effective against contracting or transmitting the virus, have been banned by social media companies.

Omicron Makes Biden’s Vaccine Mandates Obsolete!:
by: Luc Montagnier and Jed Rubenfeld 2022-01-09 Source: Dr. Kelli Ward

Federal courts considering the Biden administration’s vaccination mandates—including the Supreme Court at Friday’s oral argument—have focused on administrative-law issues. The decrees raise constitutional issues as well. But there’s a simpler reason the justices should stay these mandates: the rise of the Omicron variant.

It would be irrational, legally indefensible and contrary to the public interest for government to mandate vaccines absent any evidence that the vaccines are effective in stopping the spread of the pathogen they target. Yet that’s exactly what’s happening here.

Both mandates—from the Health and Human Services Department for healthcare workers and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for large employers in many other industries—were issued Nov. 5. At that time, the Delta variant represented almost all U.S. Covid-19 cases, and both agencies appropriately considered Delta at length and in detail, finding that the vaccines remained effective against it.

Those findings are now obsolete.

As of Jan. 1, Omicron represented more than 95% of U.S. Covid cases, according to estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Because some of Omicron’s 50 mutations are known to evade antibody protection, because more than 30 of those mutations are to the spike protein used as an immunogen by the existing vaccines, and because there have been mass Omicron outbreaks in heavily vaccinated populations, scientists are highly uncertain the existing vaccines can stop it from spreading. As the CDC put it on Dec. 20, “we don’t yet know . . . how well available vaccines and medications work against it.”

Live free or die?

Of course, the supreme court justices know full well that they are one lodge trip away from suffocation. Or one vial away from a suffocating death.

What do Roberts, Biden, Pelosi all have in common?

Right now, today, I have a $260 million dollar machine not making product because of covid rules. Employees have figured out how to use covid testing and reporting to get paid time off from their jobs. Every hour that machine sits idle equals a $26K loss in revenue. Starting it back up takes 16 hours. We might as well just close.

"Americans Will Have to Wait a Little Longer for the Supreme Court's Ruling on Vaccine Mandates"

I've read the OP. But even if I hadn't, I shouldn't be surprised that the misguided, swamp Supreme Court is delaying a decision on an alleged highly contagious virus as if virus wasn't a big deal anyway.

Court is probably weighing pros and cons as to if again unconstitutionally expanding the powers of the already unconstitutionally big federal government at this time is a good idea imo.

Insights welcome.

The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments, allegedly manufacturing crises to oppress everybody under their boots...

Consider that the states effectively have "veto power" over continued unpopular, unconstitutional actions of the feds.

More specifically, all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments (16&17A), little or no discussion required imo.

In fact, I challenge the states to ram the repeal amendment for 16&17A through the ratification process faster than Nancy Pelosi irresponsibly rammed unconstitutional Obamacare through the House. /semi-sarc

Again, insights welcome.

History is CLEAR.

The SCOTUS is EVIL.

Dred Scott Decision 1857, Dred Scott is property NOT a person.

Rove V Wade 1973, A baby with a UNIQUE DNA signature residing in the womb is NOT a person.

June 2012, thanks to the TRAITOR John Roberts, Obamacare IS ruled a TAX.

I have little hope that these robed CLOWNS will do the right thing and rule mandates unconstitutional.

Dear USSC,

Your job is to interpret laws with respect to adherence to the Constitution.

You are NOT there to impose ineffective measures in lieu of actual remedies.

It is established that the Mandates are Unconstitutional and that the supposed "vaccines" do not prevent either catching or transmitting the virus.

Do your job!

How cowardly of them. Meanwhile, the idiotic OSHA mandate (for companies with over 100 employees) remains in place.

Because.....$cience says only 100+ companies must track, record, etc., $hot status of their employees.

What a sick joke. Hope the sheeple are waking up.
