Yep. That’s really why they are angry.

Right! They are going learn that the new Boss is the same as the old Boss. Same Deep State uni-party.

Looks like the Establishment Democrat lost the race, but the Assistant Democrat won. When the enemy is in the gate, might be better to take the enemy wearing the uniform ('Rat), that the posers (DS pub).
Youngkin is dirty - Carlyle Group dirty.

IOW
“Friendly fire kills just as certainly as enemy fire.”
We could certainly use a lot less “participation “from Stone throwers.
There are lots of idiots in the world.

It’s hard to tell in this thread who is whom.

Yes. That and 4D chess. Lol!
Tell yourself that if that’s what helps you cope.

Yep. My county is now Fairfax South. Thanks to R supervisors for the last several decades enriching themselves and approving dozens of high density housing tracts. The folks who live in these areas don’t vote R. They’ve sown the seeds of their own destruction and the destruction of the commonwealth. It makes me sick.

IMHO, because we have successfully pushed God from the public square and the American church has almost completely gone over to the spirit of the age.

Laughable. He’s firing the parole board. He sacked the tyrannical heath secretary and vaccine nazi at the VDH.
Norm Oliver, the VDH commissioner announced that he is stepping down 1/14/22. He is the worst and Virginia is much better off without him. Utterly incompetent doesn't even begin to cover it. Whether Youngkin told him to step down, I don't know.
That said, agency heads are typically replaced when a new administration comes in. So, no points to Youngkin on that.
He announced a repeal of the state employee vaccine mandate and a repeal of the school masking requirement.
And he has also indicated that he will not step in if localities choose to implement their own draconian covid rules. I'm sorry but local control does not supercede bodily autonomy. He's tried to walk that back a bit and time will tell.
I’m so sick of knee jerk reactions by clowns.
I'm sick of politicians promising one thing and doing the opposite. There was a lot of concern about his core beliefs in the runup to the convention. He signed on to a statement issued by his church's vestry in the aftermath of the George Floyd killing that was very woke. That statement has since been pulled down from the church's website.
The Bull Elephant had a negative article about him before the convention which has also conveniently been tossed down the memory hole.
His claim that he was unaware of the Carlisle Group's financial support of the SPLC is completely unbelievable. He didn't become CEO by not paying attention to details like that. So, either he was an incompetent CEO or he was really OK with the donation.
I voted for him knowing full well my concerns would probably be justified. As citizens (not subjects) of a republic (not a democracy) our job does not begin and end on Election Day. Our duty is to hold their feet to the fire every day. So, we have work to do.

Putting your enemies in positions of authority to enact THEIR policies and punish THEIR enemies is not what was meant by “keep your enemies closer.”

Youngkin was allowed to win, you FOOLS. He was allowed to win because:
1. Even the democrats hate that scumbag P.O.S. Terry McCauliffe. No loss there.
2. The amiable dunce Jack "Who Does That?" Ciatterelli, likely won, but of course, votes found later gave Phil Murphy the victory. The left needed New Jersey to be in their control, so they cheated there.
3. Why did Youngkin win? The left simply needed to test the waters--they needed to see what the American people were thinking and feeling, and use the results to adjust the algorithms for the next set of elections. They left the election alone, and didn't interfere.
How many of you heard of Youngkin before he ran for governor? My guess is NONE. He worked for THE CARLYLE GROUP, which owns...wait for it...wait for it...
DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS.
Youngkin the Blumpkin's job was to "win", work one term, then lose when the country permanently becomes democrat because too many of you LOSERS are TRUSTING THE PLAN, and not getting involved in the local elections. Even if you started now, it's likely too late.
All of you fools acting smug and talking about 2022 and 2024 will be in for a real shock. If we even make it to 2022.
To: iceskater
And Fairfax County is South North Jersey.
To: Ken Regis
Putting your enemies in positions of authority to enact THEIR policies and punish THEIR enemies is not what was meant by “keep your enemies closer.” I have bit yet abandoned hope for Youngkin, but this is an absurd defense. I’d like to know he picked someone who knows from the inside how CRT was implemented and how to defuse it... but it’d be crazy for me to assert that that’s what he did.
